I think it's feasible that Law could simply escape Egghead using the Op-Op fruit. He can create rooms the size of islands and teleport people around within them, so he could probably just shambles his crew and the vegapunks down to the Polar Tang, and then get the hell out of there.

3 things: 1. if Law makes nice on Elbaf, we lose out on Bepo D. Bear sulong (and learning the truth about his pal Chopper D. Dealer). Bepo could also play a similar role to saving Law at Egghead like he did with Blackbeard 2. Elbaf would be a big (or even giant) Usopp moment but there’s also a giant Robin moment that could end with much Dereshi’ing and maybe even the return of a different more cowboy ish hat coming back into the story. And 3. Female Caribou is the nightmare fuel I was not expecting today, so thank you kindly for that

Yeah man i hate how much ppl are ****ing on Kidd cause he couldn't deal with Shanks, his fruit is actually broken too if used right... and in reality Luffy might actually remember Blackbeard's involvement with Ace, get extremely pissed off/angry just like with Akainu and go gear 5 & completely demolish Teach & his entire crew in the blink of an eye. To say they would just run away from the burst lol that might not be what Oda goes for at all if Luffy encounters BB this early in this story b4 all of Teach's future power ups.

I don't imagine that freeing the seraphim would make any real difference, as they have been established to have only a limited ability for independent decision making, and would probably just continue following the last order they were given as a result, except without anyone necessarily being able to call them off.

Blackbeard has a sniper with a much longer range so range is not an advantage for Killer who can only fire once or twice. It was not made clear as he used it at the end of his last battle but railgun probably drains him of his energy quite significantly

It wouldn't work because Blackbeard's sea quake attacks already destroys Kid's ship, Law's ship is submarine thats why Law survived the attack, any ship thats not submarine is not surviving Blackbeard's sea quakes/tsunami attacks so it will be easier fight for Blackbeard

Actually, I think Law might be the perfect candidate to take down the Seraphim. As powerful and durable as the Seraphim are, they don’t seem to have haki, which would mean that, unlike against Vergo, Doflamingo, Kaido, and Big Mom, Law could use the full range of his powers on them. He could chop them up, he could remove their hearts like he did Smoker’s for an instant win, he could even body swap them with some of his weaker crew members for the time being. Unless S-Snake got the drop on him and he fell for her cuteness act, once they’re in Law’s room, without Haki, what can they really do? And assuming Stussy still takes care of Lucci and Kaku, I could see the Heart pirates figuring out York’s plot and escaping Egghead unscathed.

I still believe that it's a possibility, an admittedly slim one, that Egghead turns into the best option for Kidd. Mainly it involves him reaching Egghead itself, which I agree, he'd probably be taken down by Lilith first. But if he did get to Egghead, I imagine he'd become a tech god. His powers just come together so well on Egghead and its weaponry, basically turning him into a living island battalion thing. He becomes insanely strong, enough to wipe out the Seraphim and the Marine attack, but it's still Kidd, so he goes on a rampage of destruction now he has access to all these weapons.

Also I'd like to point out, Law low diffs all the seraphim, does everyone forget the seraphim have showcased no haki at all & law can teleport them all into the sea or into the bubble gun immediately? Not to mention Law could just swap their personalities into fodder soldiers. There are literally over 10 different abilities Law can use to 1 shot the seraphim with attacks the seraphim cannot defend against. Keep in mind, the only reason Law couldn't use all his abilities on Kaido & Big Mom is because their haki was strong & currently being used to stop him & even with that being the case majority of his moves still worked & all of his Awakening moves worked. Not to mention Law is far smarter then luffy so, he'd find out wayyyy faster then everyone else vegapunk is being betrayed from within & never take his eyes off him, foiling York's plan. Also Law unlike luffy would actually be smart enough to just tell the vegapunks to modify his ship, so they could get away from the marines & they'd just leave before Kizaru got there. & Because ik someone will bring up Rob Lucci, if he can't tank low level gear 5th punches, where luffy is clearly holding back, then he isn't tanking any of Law's better moves that all hurt Kaido & Big Mom & Blackbeard who all used high speed healing to recover from those better attacks.

I think the two of them would hang out for a bit and then shanks would throw him the ultimatum, then law would accept the fight and probably lose. It would most likely be a one on one. @gwen , Law's attack don't need charging, Kid's attack needed time to charge, he hit Big mom after Big mom was hurt by Law's puncture wille, Kid was also charging his attack before attacking Shanks thats how Shanks sensed with Haki, it needs a time, Law doesn't need time to attack with awakening its much faster, he caught Big Mom off-guard when she was going rooftop, Law is much faster than Kid and can also teleport, Kid can't do that. Also Teach was following Law after Law escaped, thats how Teach was off-guard while using pegasus to fly, since Kid won't escape, he can't catch Teach offguard while flying with pegasus in the air

We don’t know York's or any of the Vegapunks' capabilities with haki. Depending on if Seraphim's command hierarchy takes soul into consideration or not, Law could switch York's body with a better Vegapunk and have them stop the Seraphim. Obviously, that is a very convoluted plan though.

Yes he would get one shotted only if Law was reckless and decided to hurt Shanks' crew. they keep forgetting that Kid was in that situation in the first place because he decided to attack Shank's allies crew. Law is more the logical and strategic person, its going to be more diplomatic.

The Straw Hat Pirates go on to rebrand themselves the No Hat Pirates, which becomes a strange distinction as there are many pirates with no hat, but moreso the crew itself at any given point wears no fewer than two hats between Chopper and Usopp, additionally it's up for debate whether Zoro's bandana is a hat or not, but clearly foreseeing this outcome, Robin gave up her cowboy hat years ago.

My thing for Kidd is, at least after getting sunk so immediately by Shanks, if he does survive, his entire arc (should he get anymore focus) i feel like is realizing he can’t go into every situation thinking he can blow up the island and not give a damn. Honestly the more prep time and conversation Kidd actually has with his crew the better chance he has in all of these situations. If he trusts his crews intuition and doesnt attack blackbeard marooned (or shanks and all of elbaf), he gets away pretty cleanly. I think that if Kidd isn’t an immediate Ass to all of Egghead he could do a ton of damage. Just unfortunate we really have no evidence he will change from a one dimensional character because he is really cool has a great power and design otherwise.

When you think about it, the straw hat is kind on like a crown for the pirate king. Instead of the rigid sharp shape of a crown, it is a simple and common item that almost anyone can wear. Shanks might respect that Luffy is the one fated to change the world, but that does not mean he is going to allow Luffy to become the pirate king. If the Straw hat is a crown then that means that shanks is expecting Luffy to return the crown to him, the rightful king.

I think Luffy will get the opportunity to return the Straw Hat. In fact, I think it's gonna happen right before the final battle in One Piece. I'm starting to get the feeling that Blackbeard and his crew are a very epaborate red herring for Luffy's ultimate challenge, because it's actually Shanks that will be Luffy's true final obstacle, and that this is something both Luffy and Shanks have desired from the start. Like, maybe Luffy's declaration of gathering a crew as great as Shanks' was more than just wating to be as good as Shanks, but was intended as a direct challenge from Luffy to Shanks to become his rival and overcome him, and Shanks understood this perfectly and gave Luffy the Straw Hat as an acknowledgement of this. So the final battle will be Luffy vs Shanks, which will start after Luffy returns the hat to Shanks while promising him that he will still leave with it after winning it from him with his own strength. Maybe beating Shanks and truly earning the straw hat from him is the other dream that Luffy told his crew about that we as the audience have not yet been made aware of.

talking about usopp and elbaf, I really do think that usopp's biggest moment in the series will involve the giants, let's say that the strawhats are in their worst situation ever similar to how hopeless they were on sabaody, the antagonist here is all of the might of the navy or something like that. Usopp has been missing for a while now but noone notices because they were too focused on trying to survive. luffy is beat up on the ground and let's say akainu is going to finish him off. something shoots his hand and it stops him, everyone looks around but nothing is seen in the horizon after seconds everyone starts sensing a trembling in the earth like some sort of an earthquake and they hear the impact of giant footsteps, after minutes they notice a shadow filling the horizon coming from the mist far away, it's all of the warriors of elbaf coming in an attack on titan rumbling manner, luffy barely opens his eyes and sees dory and brogy, he squizes them once more, and sees, the shadow of his friend on the shoulder of brogy, he really did it, he convinced the warriors of elbaf the mightiest army in the whole world to come and save them, they were mooved by his bravery and determination and they deem him worthy of leading them.

Sad to say for Blackbeard, but in this setup Kidd absolutely stomps his crew. The only person who could potentially save them is Augur, who'd likely spot the shot readying and start warping members away. But even then, Kidd has never shown a speck of honor or need of a fair fight. He'll just keep bombarding the Blackbeard crew on the island.

I agree. Kidd mainly lost to Shanks because he decided to use a very powerful but slow attack which made Shanks speedblitz him. Against Blackbeard's crew, I believe he would perform better than Law. Same for Law against Shanks.

I'm fairly certain the only reason he was throwing them around against Law was to force him to surface. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. And if BB DOESNT immediately sink Kid's ship, then Kid will obliterate his. And Kid would just keep attacking. Not to mention the fact that Kid can literally fly, so even if BB sunk his ship, there's no guarantee that would stop Kid from coming after him.

I always believed that after Egghead, we will be going to Elbaf and Elbaf would be an Usopp focused arc, maybe that's where he finally learns to control his observation Haki (I like the idea that he can project his lies onto others with his Haki) and/or get a new weapon (maybe Mjolnir). But at the end of Elbaf, it will turn into a Luffy arc and Luffy will find out he is only like a half-day behind Shanks.

Alternative Universe: It would have been amazing to see Kid v. Blackbeard, Luffy going Elbaf, Law going EggHead. 1. It would have been an honourable death for Kid. Blackbeard gets his fruit and ponygliff sketch. 2. Law would have a feast on devil fruits info & world history (remember: his curiosity brought a ponygliff to Nico Robin and he destroyed Smile fruits). He has a submarine which actually increases his chnace of survival. 3. Lastly the straw hat return ceremony will take place. Nico Robin will get ticket of lost records of Elbalf. Ussop will meet his dad and will sworn into God Ussop after his sniper training with Daddy Ussop. All the strawhats will have their training 2.0.

Look, I know Kid is kinda an idiot, but I think his only obstacle if he went to egghead would just be fatigue from using his own devil fruit. He would be at an extreme advantage being able to not only disable but likely *control* the metal weapons. He's only been working with scrap metal up until now and could still pull off super destructive moves like Damned Punk, so imagine what he could do with actual technology

That's a nice hypothesis! There are a few things I would see differently though. First, for all his cunning and strategy, I don't think we've seen Law surrender. They might very well stay amicable but I don't believe he would simply surrender to Shanks... It's just not the pirate thing to do and he was also excited to take on black beard at some point. He could also trick him somehow but I don't see him passively being threatened. I also don't see the straw hats passing on a fight against black beard even if they can, or maybe only if Usopp knoks out half the crew from behind... They just have too much of a history already and it's not the same as the Kaido situation, the fleet is not there. In general I feel like there's no way any of those scenarios might have happened though (especially the ones involving the straw hats). Oda would not have just go on with logic, something surprising would have happened XD

I'm pretty sure shanks wouldn't meet with Luffy. Not for any personal reason, but to not inhibit the real reason he gave Luffy the straw hat. That hat and the arbitrary goal he set for Luffy were meant to fuel him to do exactly what he was supposed to do, become Joyboy and do Joyboy things. A premature meeting might mess that up. Pretty sure they won't meet until the absolute final fight vs world government.
