Through contracts maybe the toys have to fulfill specific roles and commands like how you wouldn't expect a barbie doll at a tea party to start spontaneous battle rapping idk? Just like how sabo and ace use the mera mera slightly differently I'm sure something as specific as a contract could be adapted more innocently by a kid

The best positive spin I can give the creation of the a Hobi Hobi no Mi is that it's from an extremely traumatized child who just wanted bad people to go away and to forget they exist and leave them to their toys. The contractual part of the fruit comes from a certain devilish twisting of "playtime" where the child gets to do anything to the toys because real toys can't really object or consent to their treatment, only be controlled by the whims of the child. Out of this entire video, I think the Tequila Wolf theory is just awesome in the most messed up way. It's such a fucking perfect encapsulation of the horrors of the Celestial Dragons. It's something they would totally do, and there wouldn't even be a logical reason to the evilness, it's purely because they can do it.

Concerning the evil dreams theory, I feel like you could probably explain most, if not all, those seemingly evil powers with children's dreams. Children will wish for the wildest things without thinking about consequences. Especially if they have been hurt or are suffering on some way. For example, a child might wish for the ability to remove memories because of the wish to remove some trauma, or maybe a child is overreacting because people won't play with them enough, so they wish for the ability to eternally play with them even if they don't want to, which might result in Sugar's DF.

I personally have a theory that is really far fetched but could still possibly happen. S-snake is obviously smitten with luffy, so I could see the seraphim being let loose by york and she sides with the straw hats and escapes with them. Then on elbaf she wants to join the crew so one of the remaining satellites reprograms her to remove the order hierarchy and give her free will (or something like that) Theres like no chance this will ever happen but itd be a really cool way to see how the seraphim grow. I still think bonney is a guaranteed member of the crew though

Here are some theories: Laffitte and Big News Morgans are the same person. We've never seen Morgans in human form and we've never seen Laffitte in hybrid or zoan form. He's just REALLY deep undercover. The yami yami no mi is actually a mythical zoan under an alias just like the hito hito no mi: model nika. That's why Blackbeard can't become intangible. Rather than becoming darkness, he became a god of darkness. All the different races in the One Piece world are the result of the original devil fruit users having children and passing on mutant traits. the world government banished the mutants to distant islands, restricted access to devil fruits as tightly as possible, and enacted a global conspiracy to cover it up (the void century). A few more benign mutants passed under the radar, and that's why we have 20 foot tall humans, humans with horns, and humans with sharp teeth.

My theory on devil fruits being the wishes of past people is that the fruits aren't exactly what the person wants but rather an over the top or twisted way of fulfilling their desire. Like the hobby fruit, it could be derived from the wish of a child who wanted nothing more but to have as many toys as they want and to play with them forever.

The 20 kingdoms (later World Government) found out and fought a war to get on one of the only safe places, the Red Line(this is why they left their kingdoms, except Lili). They need to keep the flooding secret, or everyone will want to get on the Red Line, too. I also noticed something interesting: Joy Boy's allies are unaffected by flooding. Wano built a wall, fishmen and sky people don't care, minks have Zou and the giants have the tree Adam.

I had already deduced the basic concept of "The Dark Desires Theory" when I first heard about Vegapunk's musings on Devil Fruits being born from desires/wishes. There are indeed Devil Fruits that were born of pure intentioned people with the desire to better the world, just as there were evil people wanting to destroy or enslave the world. The worst case scenario is Devil Fruits born of good intentions being perverted by current users with wicked and dangerous ideas for selfish gain, if not worse.
