Grandma Owned These Officers Like A PRO! | First Amendment Audit 2024 New #12
The video captures a confrontation regarding the authority of the police and public safety in relation to freedom of speech and freedom of the press during a First Amendment Audit. In the video, a citizen (possibly a woman) is recording in a public area when security forces and police demand that she stop and provide personal information, a common issue encountered in First Amendment Audits. This citizen firmly asserts her rights in a public space, emphasizing that recording is legal and does not violate anyone's privacy, a principle vital to First Amendment Audits.
The dialogue highlights the tension between citizens' rights and the attitudes of law enforcement, while also underscoring the need to educate both sides about their rights and responsibilities in public spaces, particularly during First Amendment Audits. Specifically, citizens need to understand their rights to confidently defend them, while law enforcement should be trained to respect these rights and handle situations without infringing on the freedoms of individuals. Understanding the limits and responsibilities will help foster a more positive and effective communication environment between citizens and law enforcement during First Amendment Audits.
The video concludes by emphasizing that the right to record in public areas is a crucial part of human rights and must be protected, especially in the context of First Amendment Audits. It also encourages viewers to learn about and educate themselves on their fundamental rights, contributing to the establishment of a civilized society where everyone is respected and their rights are upheld during these audits.

I find it disturbing that the citizens understand the law better than the people we pay to enforce law

Citizens being more knowledgeable about the law than those who enforce it highlights the need for better training and education within law enforcement.

Most cops are taught wrong everything - especially how to be paid liars. Once they have been brainwashed to do this, it is almost impossible to re-train them. Why? Because they were nearly unteachable in the first place and now they have a system that works...FOR THEM. Never mind if it breaks the law or tramples on rights. They rarely pay a price for their shameless corruption. Unteachable except through federal lawsuits, where the lose qualified immunity. This should be a cottage industry by now for civil rights lawyers, but where are they?

Cop: "You're being detained for a disorderly conduct violation because they said you were on their property...." Yet moments earlier the same cop refused to look at the auditor's recording to see whether or not that's true. Police must hate our rights because they ALWAYS take the side of the caller with the "problem" rather than do their job and INVESTIGATE whether or not the auditor came upon their property in order to verify if the complaint is factually true. If proper investigation was done, so much of these situations could be cleared up quickly. Sadly, it appears cops are lazy. Lazy cops = lawsuits that our tax money pays for. The process lazy cops use also makes it impossible to eliminate the lazy cops. This my friends, is a systemically corrupt system.

It’s so ridiculous that entitled people think their privacy while in public is the responsibility of others and not for themselves to create. What type of mixed up and twisted world do we actually live in?
