This recipe is a foolproof recipe for homemade doughnuts with a hole that always works. If you try it once, you will definitely use it again. These parcels differ from traditional doughnuts in that they do not have a filling, but you can decorate them with delicious additions on top, according to your own imagination. Easy to make, tasty and cheap. Recipe for 16 doughnuts.
Ingredients:
3 cups of wheat flour *200 ml glass
1/2 cup of lukewarm milk
25 g of fresh yeast or 7 g of dry yeast
4 tablespoons of sugar
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of butter
sugar for sprinkling or your favorite additions, e.g. melted chocolate and sprinkles

Preparation:
Pour lukewarm milk into a bowl, add sugar and dissolve yeast in it. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes.
When the yeast is activated, add the eggs and yolks, a pinch of salt and mix everything together.
Then add the flour to the mixed ingredients and mix all the ingredients well until combined. Finally, add the butter to the dough, this time knead the dough very well, by hand or using a planetary mixer with a hook attachment. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes.
Form the kneaded dough into a ball, place it on the bottom of a bowl, which you then cover with a cloth and leave in a warm place to rise. The dough should double in volume, it took me an hour.
Transfer the risen dough to a pastry board and roll out into a 1 cm thick cake.
Then, using a glass or a baking tin, mine is 8.5 cm in diameter, cut out circles.
In the circles obtained in this way, in the very center using a smaller tin, cut out holes. The diameter of my smaller tin is 4 cm.
Place the prepared doughnuts on squares cut out of baking paper and place them on a tray. Watch the video
Cover the tray with the doughnuts with a cloth and leave in a warm place to rise again, for about an hour.
Fry the risen doughnuts in hot oil, at a temperature of 165-170 degrees Celsius. Place the doughnuts in the oil together with the baking paper on which they rose. When the paper starts to come off the doughnuts, remove it from the pot with a fork or tongs. Fry the doughnuts in a 2 cm layer of oil or lard, on both sides until golden brown.
Place the fried doughnuts on a plate lined with paper towels and let cool.
Sprinkle with sugar, icing sugar or decorate with melted chocolate and decorate with sugar sprinkles.
