Grandma's Fudge

GRANDMA'S SEE’S FUDGE
Mix together in large pan:
4 1/2 cup sugar
1 large can evaporated milk (12 oz)
Bring to a boil and boil for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix the following with 3 packages (large or 6 cups) of chocolate chips, in large bowl:
8 oz. jar marshmallow cream
1/2 lb. melted butter or margarine
2 cups of walnut meats (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour hot mixture over chocolate mixture, blend well and put in sided pan. Refrigerate. Makes 4 pounds.
