@@jaydadon777 if he had Melle Mel, then hell yes that's a legend. There have been others like Kane. I haven't seen Melle Mel on Drink Champs. It's not about whether I like the artist. To hell with my opinion. My opinion don't mean much of anything however there have been artists on the show that have been given the title "legend" and it has been loosely thrown around. When I said, "finally a real legend " you gotta know that Casanova Fly is one of the forerunners of rap and has given birth(style wise) to a few rappers of the Golden Era. Caz, Melle Mel, Bizzy B Starski and Kool Moe D are intricate components in the family tree of MC'ing. That's the direction that I was leaning toward. Not to disrespect.

As a kid growing up in the Bronx in the 70’s and 80’s Cold Crush were super hero’s. As a fellow Boricua I remember being mesmerized by DJ Charlie Chase. This is the origins of an MC. Everyone checkout Joe Conozo’s book Born in the Bronx with the pictures, flyers and history of the beginnings.

@@Eichwiesel Thanks Bro. The Bronx was rough but their was a sense of community, as a kid the adults and OG’s watched out for us. I lived in Soundview, Castle Hill but also spent a lot of time in Bronx River. We would would go to the park jams, roller skating rinks and youth centers. Watching Zulu (Jazzy Jay, Red Alert and Bamb) is what made me want to be a DJ. The first DJ I remember seeing in person was Charlie Chase.
