What's your rating now?
@fujiapple9675
@fujiapple9675 3 жыл бұрын
What could be noted at 22:51 is that everyone occasionally plays below their rating, and everyone also occasionally plays above their rating. It just so happens that Danya's first opponent played at a higher level, and his second opponent had a bad game. I know that even though I am rated around 1250, sometimes I play like a 900, and sometimes I happen to play like a 1400. It depends on how each person responds to the tactical themes in each position.

Same. Just an FYI at the end of the first game his opponents moves were completely forced, and it was a king queen v king endgame so pretty easy to pre move to. Sorry if I come off sort of condescending, it's just that Daniel makes it clear you should never pre move unless your opponents moves are pretty much entirely forced.

It's not a pointless comment at all. In fact, I'd say it's the most useful comment out of this whole chain - mine included! His is the only one that contains useful information which some readers may not have realised. Explaining that there is a simple, understandable technique hidden behind the intimidating, GM-looking premoves is very much in the spirit of this speedrun.

Nice tactic at 21:56: After the queen moves, instead of taking White's rook, c4 is also available, which simultaneously attacks White's bishop and threatens Bc5 (pinning the queen to the king).
