great video, only thing i'd recommend for the skill build section is leaving the tripods and name on the left for the entire time you talk about the skill so that we don't have to rewind to see the tripods again.

@@LinNull both actually but mostly the first one so i can watch showcase clip while filling pods lol. also because sometimes i'm wondering what skill you're showcasing in the clip since theres alot of skills in the combo. sometimes i also rewind to see pods then fastforward and accidentally skip to the showcase clip for the next skill and i didn't notice i skipped a skill.

Awesome guide! Thank you for your videos. You hit your combos very fast. Are you use 4 fingers in a row? Pinky on Q, ring on W, middle on E, index on R?

I don't usually press buttons with my pinky, so I'll tend to use 3 fingers for pressing (+ thumb on space bar), but that's good enough to pull combos off.

Thanks for your video! What finger position on keyboard is on your opinion optimal for pvp? QWER, WASD or something else?

For me, right click to move, top row goes on QWER, bottom row goes on ASDF. It's the default options, then I just shift skills to my liking (for example I like having my knockups on E and dashes on W, but its up to individual preference.

I spent the day messing around with Arcanist PvP, and this video confirmed all the little details I wanted to know. Incredible content Lin, thanks so much. My only question is: why isn't everyone focusing you while your team runs around watching in your sample 3s? That's pretty much the only experience I've had so far.

Because I'm focusing them instead haha - one of them is Destro/Arti/Summoner, 2 of which have a lot of difficulty engaging on Arcanist. The other was Destro/Gunslinger/Deadeye, and while they can chase me down, with a Berserker and Destroyer frontline on my team it isn't hard to play back. Comps matter a lot for Arcanist, and in those clips I got good comps I could play around.

Sadly this customisation isn't available in EU/NA as the face used was removed from the game in localisation.

I just met an arcana that did 100 - 0 on my gunslinger at the start of the game. Is it posible with the newest buffs or was he just cheating. The posibility to escape wasn't there as i was Staggered into fear into knock up - > dead. I've received no damage prior to the 100 - 0 combo. I have never seen any Arcana to do this even after the buff, ( now everyone uses the yellow skills ), only this guy Iceandfireq ( he is curently at mmr 2006 on EU )

With Culling/Death Card, you can get 100 to 0 no matter when. The skill he likely used was Evoke, which is a much higher burst than the old builds - so yes, that's definitely possible. Even this video shows at 03:58 an example 1-shot combo and that's without the Evoke build.

Hi! I have one question, I have been troubling to pvp against artillerist how can I handle them? Specially their opening, Gatling stun misil 3/4 my HP gone... It's frustrating I haven't got any problem with any class except them

You can just basic attack. Hold down your attack button and gatling won't do anything to you - then just wait until they use space bar and its a free target, since you can hard CC them or just go in for a combo pretty easily.

Still just 1 Awakening. You're capped to 1 use per match in PvP, regardless of CD.

Sadly I couldn't re-create her in EU/NA - it's a face they only have in KR/RU/JP (due to our "localised" face replacing some of the older ones).

The return pod for Spine Flower no longer exists - the alternate pod won't build stacks but it can still work as Call of Destiny builds stacks instead. Slight pod adjustments but can work. Other builds are viable now though, so Arcanist has more variety.

I can make 600 swiftness + full crit work??? I find 600 > 750 negligible in most classes

I mean it's up to you, but usually her combo is very tight. Lower swiftness means you need to be even faster with Flower Dance return and get it very close to perfect if you don't want to force scales.

i got -200 pts yday from some arcana who was clearly way better than other arcanas but still.. i've never received such a beating in my life, the class doesn't seem really fair , there was pretty much nothing i could do

The class actually really struggles in higher level play. She is super dependent in Paralysis and has very bad Push skills. Put her agaisnt Glavier, Striker, Wardancer, Deadeye, any class with good Paralysis Immunity and she starts suffering. Just don't overcommit when chasing her and focus on interrupting her combos and long animations.

Unfortunately it's outdated with the Arcanist revamps. The class systems/gameplay/ultimates, etc. all still valid but the build itself had changed pods which means it's no longer possible to replicate.

Check your guide and not understand some things. 1)Why some your skills have another animation in game than mine? 2)Now arcana has another tripods, seems its not actual build?

Arcana has received revamps that changed her visuals and some pods (like Dance of Spine Flower) sometime after the guide was released. While most of the guide is still relevant, some pods within the build section won't work since they were outright deleted, so it'd need amendments.

How is arcana with 200 ping? my main is GS and i lose my mind when i pvp.

Very tough - she's not as ping dependent as GS (due to no weapon swap), but her combos are airtight due to scales and lag can cause issues with Stream of Edge Hard CC. 200 ping is likely too much for Arcanist, but if you're doing alright with GS then she'll be easier at that ping.

If you're the Arcanist you should always be able to see it. If you're not the Arcanist, you'll not be able to see it.

@@LinNull I am the Arcanist, I do see it on PVE but not on PVP, maybe a bug on the French UI version, I'll try to change it later and post there if there's a change !

@@Gaenico You should see it in PvP. You will not have a big market like in PvE bosses, and it'll be as if the enemies are Chaos Dungeon enemies. Perhaps you can try playing with the effects settings and see if it helps.

Well it does work after some changes (can't say witch one, changed some together), but it's really just "very tiny" icons as you said, similar to little mobs, and I ain't sure you can hide ennemies names in pvp, i'll try it too thanks for your help tho :)
