I've been subbed to you guys on twitch for over a year now and I almost never am able to catch your streams. I do it because of your amazing youtube content. I've watched hundreds of your videos and it was the best way I figured I could support this channel. Thanks for this top notch content! Edit: Right also watch for the techno and hockey

I really like that you dare to lose some games for fun and sometimes dubitable play -- makes the speedrun much more creative and inspiring. Also, we can learn from your mistakes:)

44:00 how did he calculate it's going to be stalemate? Or was it just safe play?
@rodrigovega73292 жыл бұрын
It’s known that if you do ladder mate without checking on every move the other player can find a single square to be stalemated on. So he just stalled one move such that all moves would be checks afterwards

Why are you only able to include the games with the white pieces? Why are you NOT ABLE to include the games with the black pieces? I understand, those will usually not include the London system, so you probably don't want to include them. But not wanting, and not being able is quite different. Or were you not able to learn proper English?!

The London is such a lame, uninspired opening. This "Grandmaster" should be ashamed of themselves.
@dion97952 жыл бұрын
why do you always like losing on time? You are a Grandmaster losing to a 1900 player. Danya had a 100% win rate on his speed run (unless it was a cheater) I expect the same from you
@blahtoausername2 жыл бұрын
Aman likes to play like the levels he's playing at. Sometimes he'll play GM moves, but usually he'll play what he thinks the rating range would play. He's not going to go full GM mode on a 1900 because where's the learning value for his 1900 rated audience?? Watch any of his other rating climbs and he does the same.
@michael88152 жыл бұрын
it is a bit odd, he spends 2 minutes on non-critical moves against much worse players often in near silence, so it's not like it's super educational
@blahtoausername2 жыл бұрын
@@michael8815 He explained in the video that he has lots of losses on the account and the reasons why: looking for good mates, funny lines for content etc.
@thatguy52332 жыл бұрын
@@michael8815 that's a good point, but they may not look critical, but take a strong look into them and you'll usually find what he considers. true that he doesn't always share it tho:( i'm pretty sure he just likes to have some fun in these games here and there. even in this video he himself said that he sometimes considers lines because they look fun, even tho they might not be winning, which means that if he wanted to win, he wouldn't play them. i wouldn't blame him - i can't imagine always playing serious chess when it's a thing you do most of your life... nothing but respect for Danya i guess?
