You make some incredibly nice pieces. It's most impressive when you show us you don't need a load of special tools and CNC, just a basic bench (although the main bench does look very flat, smooth and level) Some of the work-holding with wood and nails-wow, why doesn't anyone else show things like this, anyone with interest in woodworking can get started. Your skill and experience is inspirational. My grandson also runs off with hammers, problem is, he tends to break things (he's 7 , 'high function' autistic) Few months ago he knocked out all the windows in his mothers old travel trailer and smashed up fish tank, luckily, no fish or water in it. It's hard work hiding things from him. That last '1000 block' you made must be quite heavy?

Hello my friend Grandpa Amu, as I am 74 I love the puzzles that you create, in my youth they were my favorite toys. Because of this my mechanical abilities grew and developed to a point that I could look at an assembly an see how it went together. They are the best toys that a child can ever have because they develop the mind. Thank you for sharing this and bring back memories.😄

You can buy cheap machined or molded plastic luban puzzles in pretty much any game shop, but the products of Amu's skill & craftsmanship would be a rare pleasure to hold and display in any home. ❤

The automatic KZbin translation of the title is hilarious. Instead of something like "(the Luban locks) are interlocking and clever" (as in, they are what a clever woodworker like Amu would do), Youtubve says the locks are "...full of wisdom" (meaning the locks are someone whom you would ask for advice). And now you can't get out of your head the mental image of Amu's little grandchild just entering the age of the "why?" questions and endlesly asking the locks for advice about everything. Hallo aus Deutschland. Aus Leipzig. Aus dem "Teufelsknoten" (11:20), wie es hier heißt, habe ich für meine Frau und mich damals unser Schlafbett gebaut. Alle vier Ecken des Bettes sind ein Knoten. Ich habe die Hölzer einfach verlängert. Die letzten Teile die eingeschoben werden sind aber kürzer. Wir schlafen seit 17 Jahren sehr gut darin. Die Höhe des Bettes ist 40 cm. Die Balken sind 10 x10 cm. Es gibt kein Metall, keine Schrauben oder Nägel. Alles ist gesteckt. Auch die Zwischenablage für das Lattenrost ist mittig unten eingesteckt. Ich freue mich dass ich das nochmal sehen durfte. Vielen Dank...
