I have to admit that is pretty impressive. Good deal. I keep thinking I should get something like this for me to practice. Really does look like technology has come along to allow people to get into the hobby and seems like it's also a strong performer to train 3D.

The goosky S2 is a fantastic model! The perfect helicopter for everyone. Great to learn on as well as Hardcore 3-D. It’s also cheap to fix and handles crashes really well! I definitely recommend it to everyone to have in their collection!

What is the best beginner / intermediate Heli to learn on you think?? I have a SIM, looking for a heli..... thhx
@westhobbiesrc80512 жыл бұрын
That’s a tough decision! There is so many great models out there. The goose sky S2 the OMP M2 EVO both fantastic models! They both come in a ready to fly version as well including the radio everything you need out of the box!
@rsnate29302 жыл бұрын
I'm still working on SIM, haven't even mastered flying yet and already thinking "Maybe I should get another Heli... lol!" I have the M2 Evo - what would your thoughts be on like a Align 470LP to get something a little bigger and try out a couple? What are your thoughts on that pros and cons? Better to crash and fix one over and over or have a couple options lol? Also, if so.... recommend kit or prebuilt on the Align? I'm not very mechnical! So I do worry about building one from scratch...but maybe....it could be....fun?? Also - what does the kit NOT come with, just servos? How do I find the right servos, and do I need a flybar system? recommendations?! lolol
@westhobbiesrc80512 жыл бұрын
Having another helicopter is always the right answer! Lol I’m the wrong person to ask about if you should buy another one or not! I will tell you yes every time! 😂 My thoughts on the 470 LP. it’s a fantastic model!! I absolutely love mine and there’s a bunch of videos on the channel with it. Tons of power and can fly from mild to wild! Flies extremely well has a really big disc fuel in the air super light and solid! Of course it is a kit so building would be a little bit more complex if you have never done it before. And really the most complex part would be FBL set up. So the combo kit comes with everything you need out of the box beside a battery and Satellite depending on radio you are using. So I would definitely recommend it! Parts are still cheap and easy to rebuild. Now! Like I tell everyone, staying in the air and continuously flying is the best way to continuously progress and learn. So no matter what helicopter you on you should always have a good spare parts collection on the shelf. For example the M2 Evo, you should have a couple main shafts, feathering shafts, main and tail blades, tail booms, servo horns, servo linkage set. Now same with a 470, main shafts, feathering shafts, main blades and tail blades. Tail boom. That way in a crash you can repair it ASAP and get back in the airplane. Of course you can never stock every part and you don’t ever know it’s gonna break but at least have a good start of parts on your shelf. My porch wall looks like a hobby shop lol I have all kinds of stuff hanging up as if I crash and I know I broke something I will buy two of them that way I replace the one I broke and I have one on the shelf. Now if you don’t want to build a model, the Blade fusion 360 smart is a fantastic model! BNF out of the box and just need battery.

@@westhobbiesrc8051 dude this is why I love you. You took so much time to give that response! Ok, so I am going to think on it... then tell the wife... "WestHobbiesRC told me I needed 1 more Heli...." : ) Is the SAB in the price range too or not really? Or even the Blade 480 lol? This might be too intense of a build...and too big...?? Might be getting ahead of myself lol! The 360 might be a good option.... See waht you have done?!?!
@westhobbiesrc80512 жыл бұрын
@@rsnate2930 lol i just tell my wife I had them for a while and she never noticed 😂 don’t work! She’s knows! 😳 So SAB is outstanding! Best helis you can buy! The RAW 420 is a incredible heli! If you want to build a fusion 480 I would highly highly recommend the SAB RAW 580! My favorite heli of all time. Bigger fly’s better in a way, but of course cost more in a crash. So I tell people this! Fly the biggest you can afford to crash. For example, if you crash a RAW 580 that’s a $250 crash easy! That’s just blades and canopy lol I’ve seen so many people buy a 550 or 600 or 700 and crash once and it puts them out of the hobby. So I think for a second heli, Blade Fusion 360 Smart if you want BNF or Align 470. If you want the best in that class then the RAW 420!
@rsnate29302 жыл бұрын
@@westhobbiesrc8051 looking around, parts are so available for the 470. A little Cheaper parts as well. 360 still on back order and some parts. So the build may be kind of tough for someone like me, but I’m hoping a good learning experience and I would know how to repair it! So final thoughts… all parts on the 470LM super combo are solid.. good kit?! Or is it really better to get the normal kit and get my own servos and fbl system etc?? Final thoughts?! Lol You are seriously the best man!
@westhobbiesrc80512 жыл бұрын
@@rsnate2930 building a heli form a kit is always the best because you know how the heli is built, you know how the heli works. It maybe a learning curve but well worth it! Yes everything that come comes with the combo kit is good, the only think I would say is get a iKon 2 FBL and get rid of the Microbeast that comes with the 470. It’s a good FBL but out dated. With the iKon 2 you can have auto level and rescue!

@westhobbiesrc8051 Жыл бұрын
@@mirospool6992 you’re welcome! That all depends on the Flying style and what you like. Personally, my grandfather loves the 230s. It was a great model in the day, but I’m not a big fan of it. I would highly recommend the Goosky S2 over any of them. It is such a incredible flying a little helicopter. Or the Goosky RS4. The 230 is about twice the size of the S2 and smaller than the RS4.
