Glad you found it. Did my first spool up finally (blades off) on mine and within seconds it developed an ear piercing tone and I shut it down. I’m going to investigate but it may be in the transmission. I opened the access hatch and doesn’t have any evidence of grease inside. Not sure that’s normal.

@@WigglfingerzRC so that noise is normal when running no blades. It’s a RPM harmonic. It will go away when you go above or below that point. But when blades are on your never going to hear it.not sure why it sounds like that but it’s normal on a bunch of helicopters.

@@westhobbiesrc8051whew. My first build and was afraid I might have ruined it. I’ll blade it back up and see what I got. Thanks.

Happy New year my dude! Met another long term VBar flyer try his first RF2 this last week on a Raw 580. 'Connected' and 'Love it' were among some of the descriptors. Just sayin ^_^

Happy new year buddy! That’s awesome! The Rotor flight stuff is good, I will definitely play with it but I highly doubt I’ll ever switch from Vbar. I love the system, the feel of the radio, he set up to lime tree, etc. I know you get telemetry and everything with rotor flight, but in my opinion, I don’t like the way the TX16S feels in my hands. I know it’s weird lol but the Vcontroller just fits and feels amazing! But I can’t wait to learn and try Rotorflight! Have a great new year!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I think my next build will be a Spirit eco-system on a 700 class. JR is a close choice as well. I've got four birds on Nexus/RF2 and a 5th I am converting using a Drone Mirco FC. I want to branch out and experience more as well going forward. As for Tx16s, maybe hold out to the end of the year. The successor is right around the corner. For sure get nothing less than upgraded gimbals. I have my center lock very loose. Aileron is just slightly tighter than Elevator on the throw needed once outside of the CenterPoint. Collective has a nice subtle grit and stiffness like dragging your finger through fine sand or soft mud. Rudder center snap is just enough to find the position but not force me to stay into it. My point to anyone reading this....a good radio will let you customize the feel, they all have a degree of tuning allowed and you should 100% take a couple hours and play with different feelings. Some do it better than others and at the price point...Radio master just slays it with AG01's.

And to think, thirty years ago we were happy to get a heli to go up six feet, forward thirty and not crash to the ground. Now they try their damnest to crash and avoid it.
