People need to stop whining about 'putting the dog in a box!!!' You're all acting as if it was SEALED in the box for days. Fact of the matter is, a lot of people get a puppy, put it in a box WITHOUT sealing it up, and present it moments after. The dog never goes in a box for long periods of time and it's certainly not trapped either. Stop shitting on someone's happiness because you don't have enough of your own.

I think that's great. But make sure that your kids will take the dog and continue to love it when you and your wife pass away or need to go into a home. Far to many are surrendered to the shelter/rescue as no one in the family wants it. I foster so I know this.

Here is why I like it, Dogs for the most part are loving, caring, humble, and joyful which most of the time GOD is. Dogs are always happy to see us and are quick to forgave again like GOD. When you run astray no matter how long when you finely get back to him or her GOD welcomes you with opens arms, as in a dog case if your gone far as long tim6e like a day a month a year or more or a short time lie a minute or a few more when you come back you are greeted with a few good wags of a tail and doggy kisses galore. And here is why I don't like it, it's like your saying fog are by far better then all other animals which is not true all animals big and small all amazing and are made by GOD. It also seems kinda offensive to those who are other types of animal lover's such as cat lovers, and many many others me myself I'm an animal lover I love cats, dogs, brids, horses, goats, donkeys (or to Bailey in A Dog Purpose call them) a dog horse, pigs, otters, deers, rats, guinea pig's, bunny's, and many many others (other then bugs sorry don't love them, I know we need them but I don't gave to love them) like okay but love NO. This is what I'm gonna do for my grandpa's birthday. Since he recently (around August) lost his dog of 13 years old, he's been so lonely and has been smoking more than usual. I know a new puppy could never replace his wife, but I'd like to think that it can lighten the rest of his days up.
