Granger Smith, as a member of the United States Army I thank you. You are a true American and a model for country music. The majority of country music is so supportive of us but you have taken it to the next level. You didn't have to walk take the metaphor walk a mile in someone's shoes to such a level but you did and so much more. And I can speak for every service man and woman when I say thank you.

God bless this man and everything he does to help raise attention to the military. Even hundreds of miles away from Texas I can still recall the first time I heard about this boot walk going on. I know the pain of going from cowboy boots to combat boots. I take my hat off to you Granger Smith. Keep doing what your doing.
