When I pass by a granos cart, if I can, I stop and buy some. They're so good! In Caguas, we call them almojabanas. And the same family has been making them for about 80 years in Caguas. I remember Don Esteban and his cart of fresh almojabanas from when I was a kid from La Barriada Morales. Those and limber de crema were what I looked forward to the most. Only difference is I think Don Esteban made them with queso de papa, though I could be wrong about that.
