This is what I was looking for, an easy recipe, my mother used to make this for us, mostly on sundays, Lord I miss her, anyway, will try this, but would like to only use a lb of meet instead of 2, since i'm trying this out for the 1st time this way, would you suggest using 2 cups of water? I can wing the rest of the ingredients. TY for your time.

I love your recipes and really hope you all are doing well!! I found your channel during Covid and it’s been very helpful for me to suprise my boricua wife with dishes from her childhood. Do you think I could prepare these alcapurrias ahead of time and freeze them to fry later?

Si tienes niños que todavía no aprenden a comer la cebolla, la puedes pasar por el procesador y mezclarla con la mayonesa (lo mismo con el pimiento verde si es de tu gusto). Así pueden disfrutar el sabor sin quejarse del "crunch" de la cebolla. Me encantan estos coditos.

sad you don't make any more video's that I could see! you don't only have to make only traditional puerto rican dishes! but all types of dishes world wide with a puerto rican touch? like how I would make it in a puerto rican way! and visit other parts of the world and there cooking ways! then add your way! the puerto rican touch? just saying! Thank you for the video. I’m going to try the frozen masa.. for sure is faster... my grandma pass away age 92... I love when Grandma-mom-daughter auntie Sit together to get pasteles ready .oh love Christmas 🎄 time.the music 🎶 coconut 🥥 drink.. Families gets together.... pasteles in our home was not just for holidays. We have it others day of the month.. my grandma would love the ideas 💡 frozen masa no hard work 😓 thank you again sweetie

I made this for dinner. It was delicious. I remember a Friend of mine was from Puerto Rico. Her Family made some great food. I miss it so much. I was about 7 years old. They were so nice to me. Loved their music and dancing too. Thank you for aharing this recipe. ❤

I love this recipe, but there is one simple trick to improve it. To prevent the foil from sticking to and potentially spoiling a perfect cuerito, simply apply some cooking spray to a sheet of parchment paper. Then place that as a barrier between the skin and the aluminum foil before wrapping. Works like a charm.

This recipe is so perfect...it is foolproof!! I’m always just piling mine and add spices and brown it stove top. Then into oven. But this, the way I heard that skin crunching, I must try. Yum. I’m pretty sure I’m some PR.
