Granny square crochet from the Mandala Baby yarn, and a refresher tutorial

The crocheted granny square is always special. People either hate it or love it. With the color-changing yarn (Mandala Baby) from Lion Brand, I tried to make a more modern version. The size of the center square is more random, but the colors are all coordinated because of the yarn.
You can cut the yarn ball into different-colored sections or use it as is. Since this is a lighter yarn, it is suitable for summer knitting.
The video also shows a refresher tutorial on the classic granny square. If you want to change color, replace the last stitch of the old color with the new color; so it looks natural.
