The part where you guys were talking about Granola being FASTER than Instant Teleportation, remember the Yardrats ARE faster than Goku when *HE* is using Instant Teleportation, because Goku uses his fingers to use Instant Teleportation, but the Yardrats have a *MORE ADVANCED* version of Instant Teleportation where they *DO NOT* need to USE their fingers, instead they just use their minds, so to put this into perspective, Goku does *NOT* have the completed version of Instant Teleportation, maybe Granola *DOES* have the Completed Version of Instant Teleportation. Maybe that is why he is that fast.

I got a few things to say.. 1. When Granola made his wish, the dragon said he would unlock his full potential but at his current age with a 3year life expectancy. That means the elders of his planet might have been very strong similar to the saiyans were they needed to get wiped for posing a possible threat to Freeze. 2. Granola's race ocular gear migh've been where the saiyans scouters could've been based of off . 3. If Goku and Vegeta focus strictly of their techniques and training they might have a chance against an unexperienced Granola.

I think during the battle, one of the civilians will get caught in the fight and Goku or Vegeta will try and save them getting hurt by Granola in the process. Granola will see this and realize saiyans don't do that and that's when he'll realize something isn't right.

Thoughts: I'm thinkin Vegeta has a shot. On top of that I feel The Heaters really are gonna play a big role towards the end of the fight. Whether or not they directly interrupt the fight, use The Dragon Balls, or perhaps even has Gas or 73 be the one to break things up or even make things worse. Frieza's involvement though still up in the air could come up sooner or later. Broly appearing could be possible but isn't certain the way I see it. As far as Hakai is concerned.. Only person I see gettin Hakai'd is Frieza. Though Hakai could perhaps be used to hinder someone like say taking a limb...... Or an eye. Yikes! But that'll conclude my thoughts

No. He says that's how he knows WHERE to hit Goku. ..."I learned exactly where to strike." The way I see it UI makes you perfect. Your body instinctively knows the absolute best way to hit/dodge etc. But sometimes there's simply no way to avoid taking a blow. Even then UI moves you to the best possible option for taking the hit to do the least damage. Granolah knows where to hit and constructs an exchange so Goku HAS to take the hit in his vital point. There's no better option.

Ive got a feeling Vegeta is going to win this as a signal for more character development. He's going antagonize Granola and play up the Saiyan history while fighting. It'll be a symbol of Vegeta moving past his anger once and for all. As Granola gets more and more pissed he can't use the wish and Vegeta out thinks him then destroys that eye piece. Ive got a feeling we'll get those Heaters or whatever stepping in at this point, small fight happens and Freiza shows up. Wew. I over thought my original comment with this. Rambled a bit.

I have a feeling vegeta won’t be able to use his destruction energy to match granola’s destructive abilities... because the sins of vegeta and his race directly connect him to the reason why granola sold his soul for revenge. Even if it was for frieza originally. I think the significance of beerus asking vegeta why he felt responsible for the saiyans inevitable death meant that if he continued to hold that thought and that thought become a burden on his potential then he would never achieve the level of power beerus can tap into at will... but this event will again remind him of his race’s past sins...

Instant transmission only takes time when Goku is searching for ki but once he locks ki of his opponent when he is fighting he can use it instantly without any delay. For example firing instant kamehame against Cell or using against Beerus in bog movie. So imo Granolah was basically faster than instant.

One thing that was left out in the conversation was the line Goku dropped. At the start of the fight Granola stated that he is the strongest in the universe, which prompts Goku to say "I've been training." So if you think about that statement, what if, at the time of Granola's wish, the dragon scales Granola's power to the current strongest of that time. Therefore allowing Goku's and Vegeta's training to close the gap of power.

The point they're trying to make is that, at it's core, UI is a technique, not a transformation. Goku undergoes a transformation cuz of his Saiyan genes and it's an angelic technique. That's what causes the huge drain on his body in the silver haired form. So if he can master the actual technique itself, plus combining it with the SSJ forms making it more accurate, he'll have successfully completed his training.
