I worked as a customer service agent and the company didn't want any CS to answer the price of their products directly because of the bs "having a salesperson to call you back" i mean for what? when the answer is clearly simple and they have it on their website but dont even want their CS to confirm it. So i always went straight for the price( single unit not a package deal) then kept the conversation going and finally had a salesperson to assist them. I felt like if you dont even bother to answer any simple question from your customers so why would you even take the job? Fk that company !
