Damn... I LOVE Both, that Kenworth and the Mack... Great to see the KW still running strong. I am looking around right now for an old Needle Nose to restore and just make it into a show truck. I just got done restoring an 83 5 Ton Military truck. This is what is keeping my sanity these days.

What a show...good KW action! 🥰 You even had a pointless hitch on the back of it. It freaked me out when I saw the kingpin bumped out like that...never seen a trailer have that, only the old Dorsey trailers that had no kingpin...50s era. Again, great stuff! 🤩

LOVE dem ol' rigs! I'm torn between Cummins and Detroit. Both sound amazing and pull great.

Pulling's just half of it. Going down you want a Jake. Drove 68 Pete w/2 4 6 button engine brake. I like being home every day. The trick is finding your niche then find good outfit to drive for.

Great video, Thanks for sharing. If you give that old Cat or Cummins some RPM before you try to shift it might be a little smoother. Thanks again.

Sum a my Best Times *I WAS IN IDAHO. OR MONTANA. I like this KW cuz it reminds me of a couple 1968 or 69 Pete's in school and driving for a hauler from farmers field to packing plants. 12h shifts at harvest. Made good money w/buku OT but felt like we was always working. 6 day week. I was younger then*

Is there any chance that KW started its life in Alberta? It has the exact same paint job as all of dad's old Whitecourt Transport trucks

Love the Kdub and the Bulldog both! Both are badass. What was wrong with the Mack since it didn't move on its own power?

I think is a perspective error. He actually drive on his right but the image taken from the passenger seat gives that impression.

What happened to the shifting ?
@empyreanb94445 жыл бұрын
He shifted to early, realized it then downshifted back to the gear he was in.

No criticism, just never seen it done, why is he running with steer tires on inside on the drives?

A reply to the guy that said Detroit's pull great. Exactly which Detroit's are you referring to? I drove probably two million miles in trucks with 2- cycle Detroit's and none of them pulled good. The only way we got anywhere was by running the hell out of them. Wide open downhill and 45 mph up the other side. Their making a come back now and I can't imagine to save my life WHY? They drink......leak oil and they will blow a fire ring if you fart the wrong way. They crack heads and are basically a pain in the ass to own and operate.

lug, grind, lug, grind alright.Doesn't rev it enough between gears which is the reason for grinding.
