WOW. This is just F A N T A S T I C. I have no other words. I am, as we speak, rewatching this again to fully assume the perfection of this video. I think it's my favourite Ward vid in all of YT. It's THAT perfect. His entire story is narrated beautifully, his past, the decisions he had to make, his demons and where he is at the moment. All the voiceovers are in point and the clips with all his relationships with the team, not just with Skye but Fitz, Jemma, Coulson and May. It seriously feels like a vid made by one person, not a collab so GREAT JOB. Also, the song choice is perfect. I'm out of words but congrats on a beautiful character study of Grant Ward, you all managed to capture his complexity perfectly! I hope Brett sees the vid (I myself am going to tweet him about it) because it's purely flawless

It's been eight years and this is still one of the best Grant Ward edits. I still think he was broken and shaped to the point that Garrett could tell him anything and he would follow. I still believe that S3 Ward could have been saved at the beginning of it - I will always hold to that fact and the fact that Whedon was too much of a coward to give him the redemption he nearly completed by the end of S2.

agentsofvidding Hope he sees it! So I just want to add (now that I've rewatched this multiple times) how much I love how you captured the grey area of his character. You can't call him a hero, but to call him a villain is equally off base in my opinion. A villain would have ordered the Bus shot down and not cared about keeping his word. He would have proclaimed loyalty to Hydra as soon as he was free from SHIELD. He's so fascinating because he's not any extreme and has such a capacity to do both good and bad (which is why I also see him as an anti-hero,) and you guys just captured that so well! It's amazing to watch this and see how you represented his nuanced and multifaceted character in this video. I'm so impressed.
