Love these videos, thank you for your input and teaching, the value is immense. I have all of a sudden caught a case of the heel shanks. You are the only person I take swing tips from (I have designed my swing off all your teachings dating back to Good Good Labs, and only been golfing for 3 years, I’m now in my mid 20’s), so I wanted to know if there’s anything in the setup or swing that is causing me to feel like I need to reach to the ball, causing all my hozzles recently? Thanks again, Grant!

This time of year a lot of you golfers are out west (AZ, TX, CA, etc...) One thing we run into a lot is hard packed mud especially on more affordable courses where the rough isn't managed as well as the fairway. How would you approach the thicker mud shots, like the cart path shot basically? I think it was one of your earlier videos on toe hooking which I love for chipping, but that's probably not advised for say an approach shot. Thanks, love these videos I save them in my bookmarks and go back to them when I run into a snag in my game!

Great instructional video. I love the way you explain what to do and then execute the shot. I never figured out how to hit some of these shots and now I have them memorized in my head. I just need to practice them now to really get the technique down so that I can execute on the course. Thanks Grant for taking the time to help us with our golfing. How about some Fairway Woods instruction? Hitting from the fairway and the tee shot with them.

Grant, I think it would have been valuable to, 1. Show the club impacting the ball, particularly on the shots from the rough, to know if it's descending or bouncing the club up into it, 2. Know what club works best from each situation. Uphill lies are quite different from downhill and, for high handicappers, that can be difficult to make that adjustment. Looking forward to more of these teaching videos.

I've been working on my grip and setup, noticed I get better results when I grip the middle of the grip instead of the end of it with each club. My thinking when I tried it was strictly for above and below feet hits, I could potentially grip up or down accordingly!

For less than stellar courses, how do you play out of greenside bunkers that have very little or packed sand more like the cart path sand you showed? Picking it clean from 4 yards is tough and there isn't enough sand to play it like a regular bunker shot. Maybe that can't be fixed and for recreational rounds consider it GUR?

What about chipping off of super hard ground? I mostly play at public courses so the rough isn't really treated the same as a tournament level course. Ill have like a 30 yard chip but the ground the ball is sitting on will be rock hard. These are my worst shots... I know they are going to be bad before I even take them. My club always just bounces off the ground and sculls the ball.

Dude, hitting it high on the face from a good lie in the rough is actually what you want to do. The grooves are sharper higher on the face thus creating more spin with a drop swing on the ball. Judging by your roll out you need more spin. Thanks
