I'm realizing Bitwig is actually the world's most complex synthesizer that also happens to be a DAW.

I like to think of it like a modular synthesizer. I only have 16 track, so I never tried the grid out. even with the limitations of 16 track, I still have lots of options with modulation.

These videos r great. I hope bitwig start to upload more tutorials on bitwig. The manual doesn't explain alot of things clearly, it just gives basic info at times

I´m coming from Version 1.3.. and thought it would be a good idea to upgrade, now. I am a Bitwig Fan since it came out. After some lurking around i watched some tutorials about the new features. Since then, my mind exploded multiple times and the sounds are so amazing .. i simply have to calm down. This is by far the most advanced software in itself, i have tried, yet. Thank you so much for develop such a great, fast and creative DAW. For a creative mind, a musician, this is a perfect solution to be really free and fast with ideas! I also think about, if i am needing any of my other synths, since the possibilities are all inside Bitwig 3. Plus, they do not sound like a specific thing, they sound universal - win win. Also, thank you for this short tutorials on youtube, which are on point! Straight to the point where everyone can dive in and experiment without loosing time! ...i´m just blown away xD

Can only agree with everyone else. This is absolute genius software design. Remarkable! I guess you're having fun developing this software, it really really shows, it's not only extremely user friendly and intuitive, it's also beautifully designed.

Amazing! Just wish you'd kept your word with the 'free updates for life' thing for the early adopters of Bitwig......
@vileguile46 жыл бұрын
Hehe yeah. I thought that was the case when i bought it but then v2 came and ....... nope. I assumed i just had misunderstood it. Now i've been on a hardware trip for the last two years so it doesn't really matter or bother me. It's nice to see Bitwig gaining new functions. I know i would have loved this :)

It’s not like the Bitwig devs are getting rich. I’m happy to periodically trade some money for such a great product.

Reid Oda Agreed, the upgrade fee is very fair.

I agree, just as a truly early adopter of Bitwig they should honour their word I think, that's all :)

This reminds me of an Apple vst instrument ( can't remember the name ) but I think it was a granular sampler that Bo Beats did a review on. Great vid, ...... question though... how you can get the play head to auto modulate back and forth for more movement in the sound. Would love to use this on vocals for some crazy ass mangling..... Thanks
@bitwig4 жыл бұрын
Hey, we're glad you like the video! You can modulate the playhead position using any of Bitwig Studio's modulators, shown in the later half of the video. Assign modulation to the playhead position for granular mangling per excellence.

>>> Propaganda destroys greedy people. The program is anachronistic, old DOS style. It is very heavy on quad-core processors. It does not use the super fast memory of graphics cards. Prices from space. This means that the company has a small manager. I do not recommend this program to musicians ! I recommend clear thinking ! Greetings from Poland
