How do I chop it up into slice from the Drum Machine? Seems I have to muck about with the clip view to 'slice to drum machine'. I want to do it right here a la Simpler on Ableton.

Hi! I have a strange question! At 1:30 the sample "Metal Perc.wav" is loaded, but it isn't part of the Bitwig Library. It's however a known sample. Can you tell me where to take it?

Definitely a Roland sample - try "Spark 1" from the Roland R-8

Forgive me as this is av ery basic question, but how do we save the individual samples we create inside of sampler? i.e. I sample something external, i load it via the clip launcher into sampler. when i am done editing and have what i want, how do i save this so i can later access it via the browser on the right?

guys... you need to implement a slice mode badly. like automatic onset slicing in the sample when slice mode is activated.

as much as corona might have hit the team and as happy I am about having comping in bitwig 4 - thats not enough new and awaited features to justify a renew of my upgrade plan which is on hold since the last two updates. I dont need stretching and comping that badly. Id upgrade if you implement sampler slicing and slicing in the rightclick menu in the file browser aswell as desperately awaited MSEG and if you want to go crazy the option to put any vsts into the grid.
