Great decision on doing a Teen Titans overview. I love those books. That updated omnibus collection is a beautiful set. I just got vol. 4 last month and it’s just such a nice book. It has different paper from the first few books but each vol. does have great paper. So it’s not like they cheaped out. I just think they changed the paper to meet the demands of the changing art and technology of the times.

Omar, I can’t tell you how much I’ve been waiting for you to pick up Astonishing X-Men by Soule. Have you read the arc with the return of Professor X? How do you feel about what he says about his game with the Shadow King? I find it shocking how nobody ever talked about this, but basically we learn that there is a very real possibility that Xavier is the one behind the O5 coming to the present and the M-Pox!! It seems we all owe a big apology to Beast - it turns out that he wasn’t the jerk that messed with time-space.. it was Xavier all along, manipulating him (consciously or not). This also explains why the Terrigen Clouds weren’t deadly before Secret Wars - the astral plane can affect reality and it seems Xavier (or the Shadow King) alters the clouds to become deadly to mutants

You can fix that X-men Omni, they sell book binding tape that will fix it. I had a book with a messed up spine and used that tape. It’s very strong “fabric” tape. Good as new!

Great haul. Interesting to see all the bits and pieces of X-Men, as I’ve been thinking hard about consolidating and offloading some of my ridiculous completist X-Men collection. If Marvel wanted to, they could do a Matthew Rosenberg X-Men Omnibus. Not sure how many would be excited to buy it, but still.

Way down the line they could expand though. -Pheonix Resurrection #1-5 -New Mutants: Dead Souls #1-6 -Astonishing X-Men Vol 4 Annual #1 -Astonishing X-Men Vol 4 #13-17 -Multiple Man #1-5 -Uncanny X-Men Vol 5 #1-10 -Uncanny X-Men Vol 5 Annual #1 -Uncanny X-Men Vol 5 #11-15 -War of the Realms: Uncanny X-Men #1-3 -Uncanny X-Men Vol 5 #16-22 Think that's it. 48 issues total and he links parts of them all together, almost in the way Hickman did with his earlier Marvel work. Even though this is kind of the glossed over era of X-Men, per Hickman's own statements, would be interesting to collect in a comprehensive way. Otherwise you're looking at 9 trades, one of which is available as an OHC.

Great haul, Omar! I love what I've read of The New Teen Titans by Wolfman/Perez. I upgraded to the current omnis from the newspaper print TPBs. Still need to pick up Volume 4. I would love a comparison between the current ones and the customs.

I got the New Mutants: Renewal Epic Collection, which I’m halfway through reading right now. Claremont’s narration and thought bubbles get a bit excessive at times, but otherwise these are enjoyable enough stories with solid character work. Looking forward to all the stories to come.

We're a long way off from A Lonely Place of Dying in the New Teen Titans omnis. Volume five is set to round out the original run. I assume we'll only just be starting on The New Titans in volume 6.

Mage : The Hero Denied. The fact that Walt Simonson is his age & still this good is kind of scary. Even Kirby went into decline but Simonson seems to be constantly refining & improving. After 40 plus years, still one of my heroes. X-Men: Ghost Boxes is one of the reasons I switched to collected editions. It took so long to come out that I lost interest.

Since Hawkins is a higher up at Top Cow apparently the big two won’t hire him he’s said which is a real shame, his comic Think Tank shows that he would be the perfect writer for Iron Man)

Definitely mage hero Define was definitely my first time with Matt's writing then I got into his Grendel I thought those two were phenomenal and see you review it and you don't show it I had such a great time with Mage that I literally went back like a year ago and I started here Euro discovered that's really good to I'm on volume one of that I got to order volume 2. Definitely probably volume to I will order like probably next week or the week after next week when I have enough money to do that plus order of volume of this that you're demonstrating of hero Define And I definitely got to finish off the series with the final installment of the story but definitely this is how I got into the character with the reimagining of the Arthur Legend which was really cool how Matt really played with the legend and modernized it it was crazy it's crazy in the store. It's really good.

Igor Kordey is amazing when he's focused on a single book. Batman/Tarzan and Kelts, a European comic, are great examples of his best work. His New X-men was at times very sloppy and rushed looking.

Definitely for astonishing X-Men I do agree with you there the lobby Warren talked about it I thought it was still very well written and pasted I wasn't shocked about the one with return. Anyone has read the series you know who I'm talking about not in the video where you see the Shadow King. Who I'm talkin about is spoiler alert for me that was the shocker was Proteus. I wasn't expecting to see Proteus after last time we saw it him. I was complete like oh my God he's back why did you bring him back.( like in my mind I was envisioning this weird scenario like people's realty is about to get messed up)

Great monthly haul as usual. It's weird it took me a while to get into the DC Omnies when I started collecting Omnies. I guess it was because I heard of the horrible tight binding of the DC omnibus. Hawk Man and the first Teen Titans omnies. I was happy when the new run of the Teen Titans Omnies came out. New mapping and new binding. It's also going to have at least five volumes. Omar I would like to see a video of your custom Teen Titans Omnies compared to the new Teen Titans Omnies. Take care, be safe.

There are still issues with DC omnis for sure. Those early TT omnis.

That was my hang up on DC Omnies. Hawk man omnibus is a mouse trap. DC has gotten better with Omnies. I do have a good collection of DC Omnies now but in the beginning I was doing my research. I still don't have any of the Geoff Johns Green Lantern omnies.
