I wish I had this series back in high school and college! I spent a lot of time looking up basics from algebra 2 because I had forgotten the concepts by the time I started college

@@KnifeLaosParty haha that was my issue exactly. then we had to pick it back up in pre calc, chem, physics.... graphing fundamentals are pretty important now that I think about it 🧐

You are the best teacher of mathematics I have ever seen just how Mr. Richard Feynman was for physics..................... I am very thankful to you sir.

I used to enjoy maths in school. I think that this might help me to get back into it properly. I do watch a fair bit of Numberphile, but this actual structured course will be more helpful.

Hi Eddie, Just wondering what software you are using for your presentations? I would like to use it in my classroom. Thanks. EDIT: No worries, I found the information on Wootube^2

That would have been a useful thing to include in the edit, wouldn’t it? It’s Notability on IPad.

Sir, how to the draw graphi of 4 degree or more than 4 degree polynomial ?? Please sir🙏🙏
@OriginalSuschi4 жыл бұрын
The main thing is to find out all derivatives of a polynomial. After that, you have more than enough information. The first derivative always shows stationary points and if a part of the graph is increasing or decreasing. The second derivative shows the concavity of each part of a graph. -> With this you can find out if it‘s concave up or concave down + find out if a stationary point is a maximum or minimum Even with two derivatives it's already a quite good sketch for a graph

8:49 (!) It's too short.... Why you are not post at least a full video related to a single typical topic sir.. This middle cut off lesson makes me feel like um..... like Incomplete and stopped in a way until you gonna post the next one.. All of your videos in this channel have same issue.. (caps lock) WHY🤕??

I'm guessing there are a handful of reasons. Off the top of my head: 1. Each video covers a single problem or concept. 2. Each video is short enough to avoid attention loss. 3. Making videos is not Mr. Woo's primary and full-time job. Teaching is, and requires 40 hours (or more) of his time every week that school is in session. 4. Editting shorter videos is less time-consuming than editting longer videos. This is Mr. Woo's time above and beyond the 40+ hours he spends teaching every week. Let's not forget the time he spends with his wife and children, and on other responsibilities that adults must devote time to (e.g. personal finances, grocery shopping, etc.). 5. It gives the viewer a natural break to physically practice the content just viewed. As you should know, practice is by far the best way to fully comprehend and appreciate any subject matter. Notice that the video titles for a particular topic are conveniently and identically named, except for the parenthetical labelling of parts (e.g. part 3 of 5, etc.). This makes it simple to search and have all parts show as results.

@@shyamkumarsoni32 The title of this video is "Graphing Polynomials (1 of 4)." There are three other videos: Graphing Polynomials (2 of 4). Graphing Polynomials (3 of 4). Graphing Polynomials (4 of 4). If you watched part 1 of 4 on the day he posted it -- and there aren't any other parts -- then clearly he hasn't had time to edit/post the rest of the parts. Have some patience. There are only 24 hours in a day. Or ask your own math teacher about the topic. That's his/her job, after all.

@@shyamkumarsoni32 From 8:33 onwards... "Now if you have a look at this, it's relatively simple to factorize x out, and then you get left with that quadratic you can see there in the middle of the page. You can factorize one step further. So that will give you all the different factors, and you can read off the intercepts from there." If you are referring to the last word "there" being cut off a bit, and you took the time to make your original post about _that,_ then you need help. Perhaps, a psychiatrist. 🤕 Or an exorcist. 👺
