Jake is back in the bay at Sub 70 Golf to test out 4 new profiles in the Graphite Design Tour AD family! This time its the CQ, HD, UB, and the IZ. The Tour AD family as a whole is known for it's Japanese influence, incredible feel, and unique load structures. All of these shafts are listed in the mid to mid-high launch section of the chart, but how are they going to perform for Jake in the bay!?
The CQ is one of the newer shafts for Graphite Design and boasts a very linear profile, great for players with linear swing tempos that want just a bit of extra help at the bottom of the swing through impact, and the HD and UB are both pretty legendary mid-launch profiles in the game of golf. The UB is known for its soft overall profile with a very stout tip section, and the HD beefs up the handle and the midsection while softening up the tip for a little bit more control from the top. The most anticipated test here for Jake is in the IZ. It did so well in Hybrid testing with its consistent structure and softer mid-section, but can it perform as ideally in the driver?
