It says very cleary several times on the packaging "NOT TO BE USED ON AN ELECTRIC OR BATTERY POWERED TRIMMER" So, of course, I put it on my electric trimmer.

I machined a bushing for my 20volt Dewalt with a 60volt battery trimmer and use a 9 in carbide circular saw blade, works great

Love the blades... but... the trimmer head I was using with them just stripped out the gears. Maybe I tried to cut something too thick. It was an old head so I'm not really sure what the cause was. It happened on camera and I'll address it in the next video. 😁👍

Wonder what their excuse is for not using them on cordless or electric trimmers. I haven't put one on my Dewalt 60V trimmer, however, the one I have is the type you can swap attachments so I can simply put the grass gator equipped trimmer attachment on the Dewalt trimmer motor. I have a regular string trimmer head, a trimmer attachment with the grass gator head, and a brush cutter head, nice that I can swap them out without having to take the trimmer head off, and swap cutters, just click and go. I've used my roto-tiller attachment on my Dewalt 60V trimmer motor, works great, plenty of power to run the tiller, so it should be fine running that grass gator. I don't have the grass gator with the metal blades, mine has the plastic ones, much better trimming around the house with and not damaging things...with the grass gator and plastic blades you can do your regular yard trimming and not have to swap out the heads, that is why I went the direction of the plastic blade model. Oh, and the plastic blade models are more rock friendly LOL. Also, be careful around fences with those metal blades. Hmm, I would have used that fancy orange tractor with the mower on it and cut that mess down rather than waste time with the trimmer LOL. I have mowed a lot worse with my fancy orange lawnmower HAHA!!!

I did try mowing it first but it pushes the stocks over so the mower doesn't cut them. I also wanted to minimize the amount of waste left behind so cutting them from the bottom made it easy to clean up using the grapple. The cutter worked great but watch out for rocks. I broke a blade already 🙄

@@samsdoinstuff Breaking blades is just part of having that cutter head gives you LOL. I've broke a couple of the plastic ones on the cutter head I have...but much better than trying to cut stuff like that with a regular string trimmer head and go through a roll of string in the process HAHA!!

Looks like it works well. I have a little ryobi that's good for grass along edges etc. but definitely would not handle that head.👍👍🍺🍺

I have seen that done. I think there is even a blade that has a chainsaw chain around it. Sometimes you just need more than string, right 😁👍

Great question. Yes it does. The only issue is I stripped the gears in the head. That may be because it was too much resistance or because the trimmer head was old. I'm now using a Stihl trimmer with a brush blade. 🤠👍

Do you know if it fits on a 80 volt kobalt?

I cannot say for sure, but they come with several nut sizes and are meant to fit most common brands 🤠👍

I have a poulan 40v power head runs its sidewalk blade fine an a gator like a house a fire. " actually scarry.. note to the wise use quality PPE. Brush is tougher than weeds. Though it will cut them i worry it will weaken my fav poulan. The early " expand it" used guard that doubled as a shear making a scissor ✂️👍. The Gators blade Edge is poor in my opinion probably cuz they can stamp the single edge Edge on the blade. In ancient times even before Christ the Savior was born the ninja concave cut Edge has never been surpassed even to this day. But I have a Dremel tool.😂

You make some very good points. I have actually upgraded to a Stihl Kombisystem and a true brush blade. I donated my gator blades to a friend. They're good for small uses, but I have some serious weed whacking and the Stihl is better suited 🤠👍
