@@ragnaricstudios5888 Tearlaments ishizu is actually better than 60 card version because you have a lot more consistant deck while being able to draw more hand traps/going second cards. See: ocg format.

@@ragnaricstudios5888 grass actually doesn't work with ishizu tear. 1: look at all the topping ocg decks where none played grass. 2: tear want their effects on separate mills, since it provides the most value of on field presence and it's more controlled.

Grass lists do some really funny stuff. Infernoids can even double down by playing Reasoning and Monster Gate, using Decatron and in this case a Zoodiac package as their anchors.

Lithium is it possible to change a decklist after a game was already played? I ask that because I would really like to see the Original Striker Orcust list you had in the cup instead of the strange one from the Swordsoul match even if that means that there has to be another match against Swordsoul (also in that match there were multiple game determinitive missplays that ruined Orcusts score so I would really like to see a rematch with the real Striker Orcust list and without these missplays)

I remember playing with that Noids deck back when it was still legal. I miss it. My favorite thing to do was make the Bujinn that lets you mill 5. Sad we didn't get to see that in the duels today, but obviously Dinosaurs were never going to let that happen with the amount of hand traps they're playing lol

This dinosaur build was format specific. It was built to blind second and catch off-guard the adamancipator/ synchro eldlich decks that were really uncontested in the format and blinded first. The creator made the list for the exact tournament they were getting into, main decking dark ruller, many handtraps etc. I would go for completely different build for a generic dinosaur deck

so why did that decatron send random noids to the grave instead of deviaty for the monster negate. especially considering that nib exists and you can simply beat that by normal summoning a monster that after that also stopps a potential oviraptor or misc hand effect as it does negate and banish the card

Nah 9:56 better optimal move is Zoo and Decatron summon If they gonna ash it isn't a problem It is a problem after they ash grass... Better chance to grass gonna resolve for follow-up 😠 If they don't ash you gonna have a negate for either Nibiru or Ash The things that should be noted is that they played handtraps so it is reasonable to do so So either they will have a problem with zoo engine or they will need to deal with milled Infernoids and not losing both options

Completely forgot about Devyaty in this matchup. D.D. Crow on legs is extremely good against Dinos. I honestly think that this wasn't the best version of Dinos to take on Infernoids. The best was probably either the True King Yang Zing version from around the same time as 60-card Infernoid, or the more modern version with Scraps. Both of those establish much better boards than the pure going second version does and makes you much better suited to take on matchups like Infernoid without needing hand traps. Going with BLOO-D!!!!!! 3-2 in the next one. Never underestimate the power of Destiny HERO - Plasma in Airblade Turbo. If this were 2011 Plant Synchro, I might give it to them, but this is Edison Quidraw Dandy Warrior Plants, which, although still quite powerful, don't quite have the same power plays as 2011 Plants, and don't have access to Maxx "C" either, which could be quite good against BLOO-D.

That was an incredible match! I have to say, it is kind of sad that a deck from 2020, allowed to go full combo against a deck with zero handtraps, was completely unable to stop Infernoid from doing whatever they wanted. I thought full combo dinos would have a better going first ability. Kudos to infernoid. Next match is a cool clash of styles. BlooD is an incredibly fast deck that goes full out with no thought for defense, while Quickdraw is far more balanced. Gotta give it to BlooD

As a note, this was a really bad list. Synchro Dino was the good variant in 2020, Scrap Dino the good variant in 2021.

Would have loved to see scrap dino instead. I would say that and TK Dino are the best 2 builds since they allow the deck to go 1st and second. I know the tops are there during this time period more but I really love the scrap raptor addition. It was strong enough that they had to limit misc to kill the deck

​@@Lithium2300 at 1:52, drident had already used its effect, at that point their only interruption was the infernoid and the face-down (which you didn't know so let's not take that into account. If you went into the secure play right away, then summoned uct, used the effect to pop secure to flip the board, they would most likely use the infernoid then you could pill for pank so you clear their board and have pank for the imagination and best case scenario some play with misc in MP2
