1) Occasional static/clicks/pops in the sources.

3) The show appears to be seamless.

This was my first show. Went to a neighbor’s house in search of weed that afternoon. 17; senior summer… “I’m dry, dude, but you should come with us to this show … “ Split with them right there and then, barefoot with $20 in my pocket: got a ticket and “three for five,” and never looked back. Thanks for posting this; next year on the 40th, I’m gonna eat a five strip and re-live this show out in my back yard, and just sit and be thankful for all the memories. 🙏🏻🌻🐢☯️

@@kevinconnell2471 I quit going to Dead shows when the price hit $10. Saw lots of shows for $5 or $6 and I had other things to do with $10 by 1980. I think the Warfield shows might have been $15, and I went to them, but then I was really done. So wonderful to be able to hear all these shows now, at no additional cost other than surrendering our privacy to the Corporate Deathstar! I was too high back in the 70's to even pay attention to the music; I was there for the traveling acid party. Now I can actually just listen to the music!

Didnt see the dead there, but saw CSNY, Santana, Little Feat, George Thorogood, B52.s, Ziggy Marley and maybe a few others Im forgetting. Thanks for the great upload.

There are only a couple Shakedowns that come anywhere near this one - the version that leads into Uncle John’s Band reprise from 12/79,and New Years 84. Not knocking any other version, it’s just high praise for the excellence!!

$11 tickets, $3.35 per hr minimum wage for my high school junior days. Backyard show became the first of many. One of the few sellouts ever at MPP and the dead were banned afterwards although Jerry did a multi show run there (at least once) afterwards. Recall seeing them with Bobby + Wasserman opening.

Set II of this show is flawless all the way through. You know it's a great set when drums and space are equally as good as the rest of it! Oh yeah, and even Around and Around (not one of my favorites by the band (Chuck Berry set the standard for that one), even kicked ass!

This is listed incorrectly. Unless already noted. The first set is 1984. And the second set is first set 1985. Hope this helps mixes up guys like me. As I was at both years and shakedown was prob the finest one they ever played. Greek 88 damn great too. Peace b’s and s’s!

Many thanks. Great show! Just a general observation - wasn't 'Don't Ease' a cold shower of a set ending song? Such an anticlimax compared to the others they used to blow it away on. We used to call it a "Deadendum."

Yeah I've always thought Dough Knees was kind of a throwaway song too. I'd rather get a Deal, or Big Railroad Blues, or even Keep Your Day Job there personally.

Agreed, but I always looked at it like they were giving us an extra quick tune before break..I personally love the way the boys did Don't Ease, but a Deal was always awesome..I know they always alternated songs in the ' 80's, but does anyone know if there was ever a Deal> Don't Ease to end a set?..much love, good health and happiness, to all my Dead fam out there..see you all starting in Bethel on July 1st.. staying Grateful..💀💨♥️⚡💙🎸🐺🍄🌹🎶
