@@ianf.8012 clonky circus cuntesk, are the words that come to mind when i think of the keys that are brought on closing into the 80s, and onwards. Moogish muddy mellishush mispspelled, are the words that i think of when i think prime GD keys. Keys a cross the board frankly. the digital sound craze in this time perticular time period provokes me for some reason. overplayed and glamorous, dont like it.

This is a great show. The Dead always played extra well in Charlie Parker's hometown. Also, thank you Hunter Seamons for curating this recording as close as tape and ingenuity can get to just exactly perfect (and the notes) -- and LostMyDayJob for putting it out here.

Both Fall 79 tours are great, Brent catching on in a big way and the band stepping up. The 2nd night of Cape Cod (10/28) and the middle show at Nassau (11/1) are standouts, and in the second tour both nights of Pittsburgh (11/30 & 12/1), Chicago 12/4, St. Louis 12/9 and both nights of Kansas City, with the 11th, yes, ending on a peak show -- and then home to Oakland Auditorium with all time great shows on 12/26 and 12/28. The motherlode.
