Indeed! It is my favorite song by them! I listen to it everyday.

😢 ❤.. Thank You Pops. Thank You Mr. Hunter. ❤❤❤ Literally just passed the 45th Anniversary of this performance 3 days ago. 2023 is the craziest year I’ve seen in my 51 years. But Jerry brings the light. Everytime.

Only played live three times, a stellar little ditty from Shakedown Street. The lyrics were so meaningful to me that I sang the song to my bride, accompanied by an acoustic guitar player, as the vows for my wedding!

this song, and in particular this version is in my humble opinion "IT" ! it moves me spiritually as a Quadriplegic to where my heart feels like a BIG Glowing Ball of Light and the rest don't matter anyhow ? ;-) wish i had bought this ? regardless here it is for all to enjoy. soak it in y'all. From '87 to early '90's was pretty damn rocking though ? stephen

here's a little side note, if you listen to the end of Space at THIS Show a woman walks up to Jerry and asks "I'D REALLY LIKE TO TAKE BANJO LESSONS" LMFAO :-D to which Jerry says, "I DON'T TEACH ANYMORE" LOL so fuckin' classic. then Bobby chimes in something ? just thought i'd share this Lil' nugget of GD Comedy !!! this probably sat that woman DOWN...........

Great song thanks to Jimmy Rogers for wrttting it sometime in the 1920's and i am sure he took it from all the people he use to meet as he rode his car all over America to hear anyone that wrote a song so he can copywrite it for himself

If I had the world to give, I'd give it to you Long as you live, would you let it fall, or hold it all in your arms? If I had a song to sing, I'd sing it to you As long as you live, lullaby or maybe a plain serenade Wouldn't you laugh, dance, and cry or be afraid at the change you made I may not have the world to give to you But maybe I have a tune or two Only if you let me be your world Could I ever give this world to you But I will give what love I have to give, I will give what love I have to give, I will give what love I have to give, long as I live. If I had a star to give, I'd give it to you Long as you live, would you have the time To watch it shine, watch it shine Or ask for the moon and heaven too? I'd give it to you. Well maybe I've got no star to spare, or anything fine or even rare, Only if you let me be your world, could I ever give this world to you. Could I ever give this world to you.

I believe this one of the Dead's hidden treasures and my personal favorite. Have you ever been experienced, well I have. Thanks bro for sharing. Especially since the link no longer has the bonus set with this song. I have it converted to cd from a tape but now I can enjoy it here. Never too slow for me. Stella Blue is very slow as well but garnished wider popularity. It's more difficult to pull off slow songs. The blemishes are more out in the open which is why this is such a raw and intimate performance. I rarely listen to the studio version.
