listening to this helps slips franklins has made me realize how much I miss being a part of this and how much we truly lost. Thank you gentlemen, ladies, it was worth everything it cost me. I'd do it all again.

Such a smooth, relaxed and competent Brown-Eyed Women... Deadco can't bottle that feeling no matter how hard they try- which makes these old vids so precious- thank you!

Would have loved to have camped it out for these. Was 17 and still living at Ma and Pas. Took me another year to get the balls to go out and adventure hitchiked all around see shows at Shoreline and tour around like a real 'head. Wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. Wish we could go back at least 30 years and see some good ole GD live again!

A fabulous show at my favorite East Coast venue. The sound in this place was exceptional. The arena was constructed specifically as a concert venue. Acoustics were incorporated into it's design.

Agreed! I tend to under appreciate the Bruce-less spring 91 shows but this one is an exception.

It was a great venue in which to see the Dead--no doubt. Personally, I thought Richmond Coliseum had the best acoustics of any of the 80's East Coast venues (the Boys didn't play the Knickerbocker until Spring Tour 1990...they were the first major act to play the arena, just a few months after it opened). Hampton Coliseum of course was legendary and had excellent sound...particularly on the floor (and it was always general admission on the floor). Hampton has a lot of sloped, poured concrete however which can "muffle" the sound somewhat up towards the rafters. Richmond is bit smaller still and has lots of brick and it's design is shallower which seems to make for great acoustics.

They were the second act to play there. I think it was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers that opened the place. The Dead played MSG so many times they had the sound in that place mastered too. They added 2 speaker stacks which were suspended from the rafters and pointed outward, where the ice ended and the seats began opposite the stage. These speaker stacks completely filled up the Garden with live surround sound. Fall 90 was amazing.

I agree with all previous replies. Go smart music lovers. Beyond Hampton Va., Knickerbocker Arena( Pepsi Arena) is definitely my favorite venue for music. I saw the first Dead show after Frank Sinatra played the first evening it hosted an concert or any event. 3 Nights of bliss and we all knew this was someplace very special and the band knew it also. It was in the air with the unspoken conversation between audience and The Boys. Love you all.
