I'm glad that The Grateful Dead happened. Humanity needed that.

Bobby Weir sitting cross-legged on his chair, Birkenstocks on the floor, cracks me up. How can we not fall in love over and over again with the Grateful Dead? Music. Community. Sunshine daydream.

Saw Bob perform at the Robbie Robertson tribute concert, heard of Phil's death while at SF's De Young. True San Francisco icons (mom dated Peter Perkins who photographed one of their covers, maybe Workingman's Dead). RIP Phil.

God I pray they celebrate their 60th. I've been taking my kids to their shows for the past 8 years and wanted to take them to the celebration

Garcia put it best when he said, "If Phil is happening, the band is happening." But God, he is going to be missed.

Kreutzmann looks as though he's lost a lot of weight; hope he's okay. These guys are national treasures.

I've heard rumors that I won't repeat. He's 78 years old and I think it's pretty much just that.

Tom Constantent would actually help out, they forget who got them to point of charging exhorbanant sums for the Sphere or one of the many final shows. When Jerry died they became a marketing machine.

Rock Music, like all music changes, the Vinyl years, Wolfman Jack, Casey Caseum, a 45 would come out, and get tested on the radio, a record would get smashed right on the air after 10 seconds, if it wasn’t any good. Groups came and went. Then came the Vietnam War and Rock Changed again. Who was the best group? The Who. The Guess Who. Creedance Clearwater Revival. No we won’t get fooled again. What do the kids listen to now, if not to the radio?
