Grateful Dead Perform "Foolish Heart" RFK 90 (NK)

I have seen zero "Foolish Hearts" on KZbin, so we finally got one (ya gotta get past the 1st few minutes of visual hippie fucking nonsense)....and in my Opinion, its the best one ever done (with all due respect to 5-6-90)...."A selfish heart is trouble, but a Foolish Heart is worse! "

The many build ups in this song especially the solo is truly one of a kind. Every version I’ve seen and heard seems like Jerry really loved this song and wanted to bring out the best version of it every time.

phil is on fire and his bass is just perfect in the mix, it really compliments the overall recording. i see a lot of these recordings and phil is turned down pretty low it seems like. but here he is crisp and fully audible, its very nice and makes me feel good

Great song, nice version. Thanks for posting. IMO, the loss of Brent more so than the loss of Jerry is why there are relativly few versions out there. Either way, I was lucky to catch them both a couple of months after this show.
