I can understand why it was only played a few times in live concerts.This was 1966?It’s lacking something as evidenced by the predictable rythmn.For a man growing so quickly in musical virtuosity,this must have been hard for Jerry to play.

Vocal identification will show that the fake, imposter Pigpen is a different person.His band-mates were one eyed jacks.Blue's were his game, the rest of the group wanted to go more country. Marty Robbins "I fell in love with a Mexican girl" etc ad nauseum was not his idea, that's for sure.

@@jkerman5113 Back in the day,69-72 they had a dude that looked liked Pigpen but wasn't. It was a fake, look alike Pigpen for a few years after his actual death.Very strange, but witnessed by many, not all were fooled. He'd sit at the organ, and the thing would not be plugged in.
