Wish more people here would speak on how they got to the dead and how they are moved by and less focusing on where they were physically at. Where did the music take u and share how maybe this community or music specifically impacted their journey. I hope love at first sight happened on this day and what beautiful blessings or hardship followed. JUST REALIZED THATS PROBABLY A LIFE STORY. HAHA. IM A SUCKER FOR STORY TIME. LOVE

Quality is great! Had this tagged on as a filler to cassette tapes in the mid-70's. This song, and the acoustic Attics from the same show.

Damn. I just missed Pigpen, went to my First Dead Show in Fall of 1973. He had charisma and chops! At the show, not a word. Strange.

I learned today that even Elvis recorded this song. But I only know this song from Stonewall Jackson. At 63 y/o I know little to nothing about Greatful Dead. Couldn't tell you nothing they ever sang but I heard talk of them many years ago, so I'm not knocking them.

Only got to see the Dead 1x, but have always loved them. I'm 73 now, sitting on the front porch in a small town in Pa. Is 96 n listening to the Dead. That's exactly where i want to be. Thank you to all in the band💙
