I saw the Grateful Dead for the first time earlier that year. That summer when I was 14 years old I was hitchhiking home from work one day and got a ride from a guy who was on his way to Watkins Glen. He offered to take me there but I couldn't do that to my parents so I declined. That weekend while I was at work I listen to a local radio station playing nothing but Grateful Dead the band and the Allman Brothers. I was the mopiest mope that ever moped that weekend. Whenever I see something about Watkins Glen I always ask myself what if...

So I was watching tv today and found myself watching horse racing at Saratoga. The race I was watching had a horse named Walstib in it. I immediately thought, "I gotta root for this horse.". Alas, he came out in second place. 😂

The record for a concert for a popular group actually belongs to The Chieftains, who played to 1 million people at Phoenix Park in Dublin. However, they were opening for the Pope,

My old friends Dan and Jay are interviewed all through this recording and part one. Immaculate ounce . Wild stories. I was in Oregon at the that time but had seen Jerry and Merl July 19 and Old and in the Way July 20. These stories are priceless. Major passing yesterday of Robbie Robertson, and 28 years to the day after Jerry Garcia? Who writes this script?

I was there the summer of high school graduation Our girlfriends made us a cooler full of sandwiches, the bottom row which made an excellent place to store our bags of weed in case we were stopped. We were stopped did our best to look innocent while the NY state trooper looked into the cooler We even offered him a sandwich, he politely refused I thought the concerts were all awesome We bought tickets (a steal at $10 each) and thoroughly enjoyed the trip(s) too

That's how I always understood Confederate flags at ABB shows; they represented a new south... or so I hoped.

This is intended as constructive criticism: if you had to bring up the confederate flag, you could have mentioned that the ABB were an inter-racial band.
@melbedewy8 ай бұрын
Well the confederacy was an interracial army. Plent of black slaveholders. They don't tell us that in the woke public schools.
