One of the greatest keys for me to find joy on the Sabbath is to follow the counsel given by Isaiah. "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; . . . and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words (Isa 58:13)." When I focus outward on serving others and not focusing inward on myself, that's when I find the Sabbath becomes a Holy day.

Adam and Eve. Every 7th day they were in communion with God... Abraham observed the sabbath too.

the sabbath is part of the mosaic law given to Israel not to the gentile nations!.The gentiles were never ever judge by God in relation to God's Law because the Law was for Israel/Jews to obey and follow and not for gentiles.Hope that helps you understand the difference between God's chosen people and the gentiles .Please show me a biblical passage where God judged a gentile nation because they did not observed the sabbath, I will be here waiting for your answer.Good luck on that one!.
