in third grade my whole class saved our eraser shavings and we decided that we would make a teddy bear out of them, (don't know how we thought it was going to work but we did) and we were so invested in it that we would keep colors separate and when we had nothing to do we would rub our erasers on the front of our planners which were the weird texture that makes the weird noise and shifts pictures or whatever and we would keep it in little boxes and we found out that hand sanitizer would help it stick together and stay in the shape we wanted it to. and our teacher saw this going on and eventually had o ban the eraser shavings. so if she caught us keeping the shavings or speaking of it we got in trouble and had to have time taken off of our recess

When I was in fourth grade, we uses to keep paper that was crumbled to the point of softness in our desks. First it was me, then a few other people thought it was cool. Eventually the teacher caught on.

This is honestly something elementary school me would've thought of and somehow I would get in trouble for at school lol when I was in fifth grade, I once got in trouble for telling another student "be there or be squared" for some baking sale we were having. I had to write an apology letter to her. Just this year, I found out that the meaning behind that is that if you're not "a round", you're a square. It's basically a shapes joke and I got so mad lol
