I used Splat temporary hair chalk for a cosplay once (because I had the right style for the hair but not the right color) and it worked really well. The color was blonde and it actually went over my purple hair which was really great. It washed out with one wash as promised.

I really feel bad for Bunny. Honestly. People are fighting over their favorite colors and I read almost all these hater comments. I used to use pastel chalk on my daughter's hair, she loved it plus you could get a lot more colors on her hair. I used my hair straightener on her but since it wasn't something that she did every day, her hair didn't get damaged. Pastel colors usually show up more on dark hair and the brighter colors on lighter hair, but my daughter loved using all kinds of colors on her hair. We would only do strips of her hair though.

Charrette I agree with the "Pink Hell" being the reason I don't really appreciate pink anymore--I ran out of steam on it at about 12 and it's taken me to 26 to gain back any appreciation for the color. I still don't LOVE it, or at least not most shades, but I like it a lot better. Trust me, it doesn't. I have it and it's really messy..it didn't even show up on my hair (which is dark brown). My bathroom counter is white... after using it, it ended up pink, blue, green and purple. Plus it gets ALL over your clothes. I recommend using colored hair spray instead (which works really well on my hair) but if you do end up using colored hair spray, use foil to block everything. :)

I guess it varies for people. I have extremely dark hair and these showed up. They were a little messy but if you're careful it's not bad. Just make sure you follow instructions about using hairspray otherwise it won't show up:)

you dont have to seal the art stuffs at all, just spray your hair with water put it in blow dry and your done. It does no damage and works better with a wider range of colors.
