Back in the ‘70s when she was filming King of the Gypsies, she graced my life. Filming was being done in a Hillside NJ cemetery just two blocks from where I lived. During a swarming group of fans, Shelley loudly yelled STOP! She called my mother closer because she was carrying a newborn in dead of winter. Shelley took me from my mothers arms and rocked me in hers. Shelley always had class. Bless her soul🙏🏻

The Spelling entertainment logo was a common sight at the end of many of my favorite TV shows and I am glad you paid tribute to a man who gave us so much great entertainment. It's wonderful that you always remember and talk about Shelley . It's clear from how fondly you speak of her that she was a very special and important person in your life. I know we all are as grateful as you are to her for being the one who encouraged you to use your personality as a means to a career, which surprisingly led you here. RIP Shelley and thank you.

What Aaron Spelling, did to his kids seems really cruel, Tori Spelling had a reality show about her family, and her and her mother had a feud all through the programme, love that you visit Shelley’s grave, loved the vlog Jordan and loved seeing Jah and his buddies thankyou x i don’t mean he was cruel to his kids just seemed wrong leaving such a small amount financially x

A good friend of mine at the time was working on the construction of that Spelling House (around 1990-ish), doing the ornate detail trim work inside. He kept telling us of the monstrous size it was, and kept he and his small family company busy for a few years.

My favorite Aaron Spelling shows are Fantasy Island (the movie I refuse to watch as I can't believe they made it into a horror movie), Love Boat, watched 90210 as a teen, cant watch it now for some reason, and Hart to Hart..

Hi Jordan, sometimes the simplest of things can make your day the best, just like the garden fence - cheery! Jordan, you also mentioned my two of my favourite shows which Aaron did which were 'Dynasty' and 'Hart to Hart', there were so many to chose from though, but I used to love 'Hart To Hart'. Geez, he sure had a mansion and a half! Great vlog Jordan.

I'm so glad you did s vlog about Aaron Spelling. He is a fascinating person. I heard Tori say one time that people thought she grew up in that house, but she said she was almost grown when they 1st moved in it . She said her fondest memories were at the house they lived in before they moved into The Manor Mansion. I didn't know Aaron Spelling had dementia before he passed away. I loved all of his TV shows.

Jordan, that was such an awesome tribute to Aaron! He sure brought us lots of great shows! Sad that his kids almost seemed like an accessory, not a priority. Enjoyed your vlog. I read an interesting story years ago about the Spelling mansion. I believe it may have been in the Wall Street Journal but not sure. The feature reporter interviewed Mrs. Spelling. I believe the hook on the story was when it was up for sale. I remember Mrs. Spelling I believe told the reporter how the house got so big. It seems if I remember right that Aaron was busy on his many productions and turned the construction over to his wife. As I recall, she said she would regularly meet with the architect. This is before computer modeling. She said the architect would show up with schematic drawings. She said she could not read them well and would regularly tell the architect "that looks too small. Make it bigger. Make it much bigger. Which he did." She said it was only after it was well under construction that she realized the enormous scale of the home, but by then it was too late to downsize.
