But I do not think they are among the greatest. Why? They fell off so quickly! They've been releasing new albums every few years for almost three decades. How much of that is memorable? 36 Chambers is among the best of the best, but what about the albums released after that? They've been consistently mediocre. I'm only including group albums here. If we include solo albums, we are no longer talking about them as a group. (That said, I think Ghostface Killah has been extremely consistent with his solo catalogue.)

The whole album was nuts. I remember when it came out, it was all anyone could talk about. We got a few little hints of what was to come before the release, and it was just perfect how the whole thing was rolled out.
