Haha you might be right! Katie spent the trip trying to convince us we were all missing out. Thank you for the kind comments! There was indeed a fair few hills and rivers, spent most of the time with soggy feet :)

Thank you Mark, they are real troopers! Come rain or shine they were determined that we'd follow the route, their enthusiasm is infectious. Tom is a natural, might have to give him his own video one day. I was very glad for a proper bed, made all the difference for the second half of the trip. Hope all is well Mark.
