A Bike Ride with my Dad Exploring Northumberland

Join me and my dad for a bike ride, exploring the beautiful back lanes of Northumberland. My dad has always encouraged me to be outside and raised me riding bikes, so it only seemed fitting to ask him to show me around his local community in Northumberland on our bikes. He always reminds me that adventure doesn't have to include a plane ride and can be found from your backdoor. Oh and also to not take things too seriously.

Lovely video. Really captures the close relationship you have with your dad + it's great to see you both outside doing activities together. Your dad is also hilarious. @@TheGirlGoneNomad Hi I did some bike routes last year as I was staying in Bamburgh so managed some nice coastal rides , the coast and castles route is amazing if you get chance to do that , im sure you would love it thanks Bri Yorkshire 👍

Looked great fun. My youngest daughter and I didn't risk cycling our tandem over that ford at Warkworth so we took our shoes and socks off and paddled through and it was very slippery with green slime, so not fun at all!

I think you did absolutely the right thing! It was very slippy and cold, least you had dry socks to put back on, on the other side. You have a tandem! We didn’t cross the Medieval Bridge in Warkworth, just circled the castle before heading for ice cream 😊 Do you have a favourite route locally? I wasn’t convinced about that ford 😂
