Gravely Pro-Stance 32 | Let's Talk About It

In this video we take a deeper look into the new Gravely Pro-Stance 32. I talk about some of the new features we like and dislike on this mower. I am excited about this new version of the Pro-Stance, but it does need some minor improvements.

The slow down function would be great if you are trying to go through awkward grownd and you choose to walk-behind as you can with this mower.

So I would like to make a note on the tires and rutting. The 32 and 36 have the same transaxles, same hub assemblies, and it seems the same frame. Difference appears to be rear wheels/tires, deck, and possibly belts. the wheels/tires are ~ 110 each. I plan on ordering some of the tires for the 36" model to put on it unless i am doing a yard that has a 32" gate and need the narrower tires to get through. small jack, 4 nuts and you can change one out in ~ 3 minutes a side. Time is money, but if most of your yards let you run the slightly wider tires, it will cut down on rutting and should give a smoother ride and let you operate in slightly wetter conditions. Not sure if it will take a wheel spacer on the backside though, but that would be simple enough. *edit* I have the 2023 model, i cant speak for older models

I appreciate the pros and cons of this well done video,. Does Gravely make a mulching attachment for the 32? i live in San Antonio Texas and we have a ton of Live Oak trees that drop their leaves in the spring. I would love to be able to mulch and not bag.

I believe they do. You can go the mulch kit route or you might be better off with a chute blocker to do mulching and side discharging on the fly

Just a thought... for the foot pedal being on the outside... Couldn't you just remove the nut and switch it to the inside?? How do you think it would do as a residential/homeowner mower for 8,000 sq ft lawn?

I looked into doing that, However the platform wouldn't be able to latch if you fold it up because of the medal sides. This would be fine for a homeowner if you want to spend the money on it. It would probably be the last mower you buy.

I've had this mower for 113hrs and I hate it. The middle drive belt has blown on me twice because (the design is terrible).

Flop the bolt around or just buy a shorter bolt ...or go all out and put on a kick start off of a 1974 Yamaha 250

This mower ruts easily Which I did expect out a 32inch) Doesn't cut low well ... Good luck trying to ever Mulch or cut a low account This Machine was a waste of $8,200 i am taking a $2,500 loss To trade it in for a 2021 hustler Electric start walkbehind that can Cut all accounts high low as mid Also mulch I will never by a Gravely Again, Yes it gets in and out gates but can't cut low accounts period Only high and mid range accounts!

Saw a video for a solution for cutting low.. hope you saw it. Need to move the pin blocker up and allow to use the lower deck pins. Then raise the belt to the upper pulley. This allows you to cut low now.
