I installed the Advanced Chute System on my ZT HD48 when I first purchased it. Has been great ever since, but now thinking of installing mulch kit! 😂

I could not load my mower in the trailer because the chute rubbed the walls. I removed the plastic chute and used a few washers between the brackets. This raised the top bracket and keeps the front edge of the chute from popping out of the hole.

I have 2015 but same model and size. I'm considering putting the shoot blocker on mine. What do you think about the addition now that you've had time to use it?

I like it a lot. I open and close it a lot mainly to keep grass out of my landscape. I like to keep it open to feed the clippings into my lawn. If you keep it closed all the time make sure you run a blower or something in the chute to lessen any buildup. It doesnt make it a mulcher but does exactly what I need it for. Very strong lever for raising and lowering. I muscle it all the time and it is great. Definitely recommend it.

@@Rumflash2003 thank you. My 52" has the full mulching kit which is nice. But at the beginning of the season I'd like to be able to scalp. The shoot would come in handy. I'll put it on my 48".

@@rayflores8408 I got a 48 too, putting it on this weekend. Handle came assembled. This kit is HEAVY, really thick good quality parts. Gonna be fun (hopefully) putting together.
