Amazing how those old grave stones are still standing strong. Nice to see a graveyard that looks taken care of.

I love this church! It's beautiful! It reminds me of Kingston Parish Church. Kingston Parish Church has a smaller graveyard, but the floor of the church is all tombs! I remember always looking down on the cobblestone while sitting in church, always reading to know whose tomb was directly under my pew. Those tombs were a few hundred years old, and that marveled me! Thanks for the vlog, I love it as usual! ❤

53:32 Finally, I see a grave of someone I know in your video. Their names are Anita and Curtis Thomas, not Thompson. They were two lovely people who retired in England and came back to settle in Mandeville. Mr Curtis was originally from Rose Hall St Elizabeth and Aunt Nita was from New Forrest, I believe. RIP. two beautiful souls who gave away almost all their retirement monies to many needy people in and around the communities where they were born. I couldn't make it to their funeral, but at least I got to see their grave.

St marks Anglican church is one of Jamaica's oldest. it is Mandeville's oldest and most important church. The cemetery at St Marks is the final resting place of some the early merchants who created to the highly developed town of Mandeville. A wealth of info on the history of Manchester. but try to do deeper research on these persons rather than just looking at graves.
