Hello mark i was watching your daughter reading off the codes from the fender tag she had skipped over the V1W code in her presentation sometimes you have to do check stuff. Great Show !!! Curt Mossbarger Rollen Thunder Mopars. Alta Loma Ca.😎

Possible correction - I think the "B13" build date with a '69 Charger of a serial number of 166686 would most likely be November 13, 1968 and not 1969 - by November of 1969 they'd long be into production of 1970 model year cars - great show though! What a beautiful car

I agree. You are correct. Cars start being built months before the actual model year.

One of these was on display at the Newport Auto Museum, Portsmouth RI last time I visited. Same color, 4spd, white vinyl top but fully restored. Yowza!!

9:10 Wow LED indicators back in the late 60’s. That was practically brand new technology back then. They only had red and green LEDs back then I believe and they weren’t very bright. Blue LEDs didn’t exist until the mid 90’s or something like that. Crazy

I’d wouldn’t restore it. I’d just make sure everything is O.E. and working properly .. preserving the car is way cooler. The classic car market is flooded with rebodied junk and hacked up Frankensteins … this would be the best of the best as a preserved car.

Plus If you wouldn’t have to worry as much. Having dust and dirt on a total restore would have me going nuts. Old paint you could drive and not be OCD

I agree 100%. They are only original once. I would totally rock this car as is. Looks awesome. I grew up in the 70,s when these were just every day drivers. Sure we would all race against each other .I was always a Mopar 1st. Ford 2nd against all others.

@32:00 "The new electronic ignition is standard w/ the 340 V8". @36:24 "The correct answer is Electronic Ignition". According to the advertisement, Electronic ignition was STANDARD on the 340 in '72, not the other engines. So the correct answer is "single point".

I enjoy watching the restoration work of this channel - but - and i am not trying to be mean - but the writing is PAINFUL. I would rather just watch the actual work being done. Jmo.

This show is worthless. Its more of a biography of the people than the cars. It's confusing how they flip between many cars per episode. They dont do any restorations, they just talk. The pop-up corrections are especially annoying (thats what editing is for, dudes). I'll never watch again.
