My first car was a 68 Charger with a 318 (it was still decently quick - particularly in 1979 when I got it😜). It was green with a vinyl top. I loved that car. Love the circle tail lights. Will always be my favorite year.

1971 , I bought a used 68 , 318 cid Charger , 59,000 miles ,, for $1500. Today 2023 they're worth 10x times $1500.. Was the best looking Charger.

​​​@@DreRasing LOL, You failed math or don't know car prices. 20 X $1500=$30,000 GOOD LUCK trying to find a Charger for that price in three year old condition the poster purchased his for years ago. Restored 1968 Charger price are starting @ roughly $75,000 for a decent one that's 50 times $1500, and many desirable ones go for over $100,000.

ME TOO!!! 68 front end and the 69/70 rear end but I have come to like the 68 round lights and overall rear end. BUT I would love to own any year and soon I will be looking to buy one any year 68,69,70 440 six pack prefer black on black but open to other outer and inner colors.

imo, the 68 has the best front, and 70 has the best rear, combine both of it and you get the best charger (i made my charger like this in nfs heat)

I will try for a black on black 68 440 six pack but we'll see what year I end up with. A beautiful 69 or 70 black on black comes my way I am a buyer. Then I might buy the other two. lol

Hey greetings from ireland first time too the channel absolutely love what you guy's do..im a huge fan of the dodge charger r/t whether it is a 383 426 or 440..just love the most iconic muscle car of its era and to date..😎😎😎✨️✨️✨️🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍68 to 70 best year of the b body ..now i have a maybe stupid question...the duke's of hazzard inspired me too fall in love with the 69 r/t and d.m.c.l movie long with death proof and of course bullit's 68..which i think was an s.e..how and ever thats not my question folks..over many seasons of the dukes and the movie in 2005 ..how many different size's of vector rims and were there different size incert spoke rims that vector did for especially for the chargers ..i seen so many different types of vector rims but im not comptetely sure if the spoke or size pattern or maybe it was just a low profile tyre size..the one in the dukes movie are so my favourite with i think a lower profile on front and white lettering makes the charger look sooo badass as they all are just my opinion vextors arw soooo 70's and 80's and a beautiful match up on the beautiful chargers..❤❤❤ love the show and thanks for sharing your wonderful muscle carz😎😎✨️✨️🙏🙏👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪🤘🤘

42:30 look at the gap on the top and bottom of the 440 call out. It looks like the gap changes on the drivers side. Almost like the 440 decal is a bit crooked. When the camera cuts to the passenger side, look how far off the gaps are. There is about a quarter inch more gap on the bottom vs the top. Am i the only one that noticed that? If you go back to some other shots you can see it even better. What say you?

Obviously it's starts with opinion though in my eyes front end back end 68 best looking an easily most sought after an worth the most. I hated my self for 40 yrs like a mad dumb ass drunk wrecked a red 68 rt charger in 83 bent front frame second dumb mistake didn't keep take to frame shop an restore. Before wreck if still had that car easily minimum sell for 55k an up in an auction an probably much more then that. Even in early 90s when you could find an buy a charger dirt cheap didn't do that the. Not a month goes by where I relive that stupid mistake. Though I know I'm not even only 1 who wrecked an sold a muscle car worth big buckd

I 've had many years ago and sold them cheap, (even gave some away) I have a mint 68 440 Charger R/T never drive it, several A bodys ,and now gas is $9-10$ per gallon in Canaduh ,we're F'kd. Maybe a Cammed up 273 "Super Commando" in a light 65 Cuda 4 spd.,wheel well headers,side pipes,like a Cobra, just like the old days, YES ! and have some fun before I croak.

68 front is not split like the 69 and has round tail lights.. ill go with 68 front and 68 rear with a big door scallop not 2 lil ones.. and if i cant get a 426 hemi I'll just use a hellcat powertrain but everything else stock.. i dnt see why they cant retro old bodies onto modern chassies its 2023... i understood how they were built
